+ Great laptop, copes with games, vmware, application development, video and TV with no problems. I am very pleased with it.

+ The overall look, the design, weight etc makes this nice laptop to use inplace of a full desktop computer. Having a full size keyboard makes life easier if you are used to a full desktop machine. Connectivity is good with ports accessible on the side instrad of the rear of the laptop, along with the memory card reader. Having a HDMI port allows easy connection to High Definition Television too.

- There were quite a few updates which needed to be done for the BIOS and driver updates which were not picked up using the HP Update tool, however, the HP website lists all the latest drivers etc quite clearly so its easy to pick them out. Wireless netowrking can also be a little hit and miss during initial connection after waking from sleep mode, but this appears to be an issue with Vista compatibility with certain routers rather than a hardware issue with the laptop.

+ it is a good product, something i was looking for.

- it is not so solid. looks like it will easily be damaged. has nothing to do with it but vista is a pain in the back. after a while needs a patch for the webcam to work, the IM programs 7 out of 10 don't work and windows explorer as a mind of it own
