wifi is impossible to use on my work network!

- The book of instructions is really hard to use and doesn't give me the answers I need. Like, how to print a multiple set ofenvelopes.l

+ It does what it's supposed to do as a printer / scanner / fax machine...... BUT......

- ...... I have wasted hours trying to make it work wirelessly with a Samsung notepad - the machines 'connect', but nothing happens thereafter, but fortunately it's not a problem since I can just as easily make do with a bit of wire...... however.......

+ Good all round value unit as a wireless printer, scanner and a fax. Value for money; but not if do a lot of colour printing.

- Very small HP901 ink cartridges - thus expensive turnover unless you refill. Although fast to print (depending on quality) it can take a while for wireless printing to start. Does not auto turn on when sent a print task, does appear to have low power sleep mode.

- sometimes a bit difficult to connect using wireless, but just restart it and it works fine

+ Fair value for money for what the printer offers and looks good.

- The economy fast print facility is actually quite bad - it pretty much spits out the paper quite forcefully so that the printed pages shoot out everywhere. I've had to reinstall it a couple of times and the slightest update to my computer will knock out the wireless connection.

+ SMALL, COMPACT, GOOD QUALITY PRINTING & SCANNING

- SEEMS TO EAT INK ....... REGULARLY NEED TO CHANGE CARTRIDGES

+ Easy to install and operate. Is a very much firmer quieter quieter model that my origonal All-in-one. And excellent value for money. Have not had machine long enough to work out cost of printing inks.

- Slow to start printing.
Prefered two separate paper trays (one with paper feed and one to recieve finised article) as on my last HP model)
Would like to be able to switch off the ring tone withoutn having to switch off the whole printer.
Would like longer ringing tone before fax clicks in.

- There is no where for the paper to sit once it has printed. Very annoying as you need to stand over the printer

+ Fast Stylish, and small footprint. Not too expensive

- Wireless not easy to set up. Would expect to be able to set up via lcd panel, but failed each time.
There are instructions for doing it by connecting to the computer via a usb lead, but I think that defeats the whole object of having a wireless printer!
Also the full software does not work with Windows server 2003, but I guess I should have checked that before I bought it. It only has a cut down driver for windows server 2003

- drivers and installation - too big and a pain to install. its the age old problem, cheap printer, no brain in the printer so requires heavy driver software.

+ Quick and easy to install and works perfectly. The ink appears to be lasting well. Wireless so I can tuck the printer away and use it from the several laptops and PCs dotted round the house

- I haven't managed to get the fax working though I suspect it is the way I have connected it to the phone line

+ So easy to use and so useful. I don't have a lot of room in my house and it is good that you just need to plug it in somewhere within wireless reach and off you go without having to take the laptop to the printer.

- The only small point is that it is a pity the tray doesn't fold up when not in use but that is a minor issue.

+ A great all round item, does exactly what it says it will. It was very easy to set up as a wireless printer and the copies are of 1st class quality. It also prints photos beautifully. It is certainly good value for money and a doddle to work the menu, its childs play and I'm very happy I chose this one.

- Wireless connection temperamental, accompanying software has glitches

+ good looking works well and being able to fax as well is an advantage

- LCD screen is too small also having to scroll through the options instead of just being able to press a button is very bad. I found it hard to set up the machine for a wireless conection. when I set up my wireless network I added a further desktop PC and 2 laptops with no trouble at all but this printer kept telling me that the password and network name I was entering was wrong.

+ Compact size for an all in one, nice colour and blends into home office well.. Generally ease of use.

- The LCD screen is not backlit, Paper tray cannot be closed without lifting the paper up. No memory card slot but as this printer is not really for photo printing maybe that is not such a great problem as you can print via a USB slot in the computer.

- using it on wireles network but it drops off now and again requiring switchig off and on to reconnect

+ This is a great product, the wireless feature is brilliant, it can access all computers in the home. Easy to set up. Comes with plenty of ink, to start you off with printing. The all in one with the fax is great value for money, ideal for all home users and small businesses. Very compact and easy to use.

- The only bad point I can think of, is it is quite slow printing, but not too bad to create any problems.
