+ This is the kind of quality that I'd hoped for from HP. Great touchpad with scroll functions and useful synaptics oftware. Superb crystal clear screen. Plenty of USB ports, multi memory card reader and inbuilt wireless connectivity. Keyboard is full size and good to use.

- windows vista. some real software incompatibility issues.

+ Built in web cam excellent, performence up till now is very good, touch controls are very good as well.

- Battery not as good as previous lap tops I've had, left for one day of no use (and the battery was fully charged) it droped to about 60% of life.

+ Really good looking laptop exactly what i want with good hardware and software components. Brilliant value for money. Suits me perfectly.

- Alot of un-neccery software that is a pain to get off at the start, not what you want. No backup disk! anoying as at some point i will proberly need one. Also the speakers are not really any good at high volumes.

+ I've not used it to its full capacity yet - but it all seems pretty fine to me. Not a laptop for carting about, but great for the house.

- Can't get the remote control out of its slot without using a set of keys, or the back of a spoon.
