- Continual failure of detergent to completely dissolve and leaves white streaks on clothing, maybe due to cold water wash as new models do not use hot water.

+ Hotpoint appliances from advise taken are held in high regaurd in terms of their products and after buying the above product it has confirmed the positive comments from others for myself and will buy hotpoint in the future.
- I have on a couple of occassions heard a banging sound when the appliance has been on spin.

+ Great machine, easy to use. Only takes an hour for the main wash so ideal for family use. Plenty of cycles to choose from so all your delicates, wools, etc are well taken care of. Looks modern and smart.
- A bit noisy when it gets going on the spinning.
