- this was an upgrade from last hotpoint fridge freezer had read reviews that said it was suitable for a big family but find i dont get as much in this fridge as i did previous hotpoint

+ A good quality product and keeps my food cool.

- Not that much space. I only recommend this for a single person or a couple. Sometimes makes funny noises.

+ good capacity in fridge, and in freezer. Fridge door space very useful

- the shelf trims keep falling off so they will soon get broken

+ Ok as a normal freezer

- Its too small, the freezer is too small and the ice cube tray on the drawers is just silly - what a daft design, the ice does not even come out !!
The door to the fridge does not close properly when you have bottles of soft drink on the bottom shelf as there is no other space to stand them up properly
I wouldnot buy this again, we bought from the internet without viewing it - what a mistake

+ Fantastic inside capacity for the space it takes up.

- The ice cube tray thingies in the fronts of the freezer drawers seem like a great idea but it's really difficult to get the ice out.

+ Fridge was the perfect size for me, would be too small for a family but ok just a one or people.

- Found when switching the door around that not all the holes had been punched through on the other side so had to attempt to put a hole through plastic and metal ourselves which could've damaged the fridge if had gone wrong. Feel that the drawers should be clear to make it easier to see what is inside without having to open each drawer individually

+ Silent running, good use of internal space, clean lines

- difficult to get items from back of drawers

+ good all round with the one bad point as said below

- where the ice cube containers fit onto the drawer fronts i have found that they break the drawer fronts easily

- Fridge shelf positions could be designed to be more adaptable allowing a greater choice of storage space

- Can't have a fridge pack of coca cola front facing as not enough depth if bottles stored in door.

+ Fits into our kitchen well.

- Not having two controls, only having the one in the fridge is ok for fridge, but not being able to control the freezer is very much a minus point and had we realised this when we bought it, we would not have done so. We also find that there is less space in the freezer than our previous one, and had we realised this we would have opted to have three larger drawers instead of four smallish ones. When we had the engineer out to see if there could be something done to change the temp of the freezer, he told us that the temp was set in factory and could not be altered, also this fridge/freezer was built in 2006 which came as a total surprise to us. All in all I would not purchase this model again.

- the fridge is always full of condensation and the freezer drawers are small

- Wanted to change the ways the doors open but none of the holes have been pre-drilled to enable us to do this.

+ Good value for money for its size. Enough storage for 1/2 people.

- Only one and that's the ice cube strip on the drawers of the freezer. They come off too easily

+ Easy to get access to everything and clean.

- We needed to change the door hanging from one side to the other. This was a major job, lying the fridge/freezer on the floor and having to drill the holes through - not easy when you are not DIYers.

- we tried to change over the way the doors opened the holes where marked out some of them where drilled and some where not !! where the holes where marked under the freeze we had to drill them out and when we did they where not in line so when we put the fittings back in the freezer door would not close !!! we had to completely redrill new holes to get all the doors to close on the whole it took approx 2 hours to change which way the doors open very unsatisfactory would not recomment to a friend because of this couldnt change them myself had to get someone in to do it for me !!!

- very limited sapce inside, for outside dimensions.back wall wet or iced most of the time

+ liked the lay out of compartments in fridge. i only have one plug socket in use instead of the two, also saves a bit more room in my kitchen.

- even though i purchased a fridge freezer with a large freezer, i still can't fit much in the freezer compartment.The drawers take up too much freezer space.I find this is just a general problem with fridge freezers. I only brought one because i had limited space in my kitchen.

- freezer draws to weak and to small also ice cube makers are a joke. salad draws to flimsey.

+ for the money this was an excellent buy - needed a f/f of a particular depth and didn't want to compromise on internal space - very good storage I think.

- ice cube things in the freezer handle a bit odd but I suppose they work and it saves having a tray in a drawer

- Top door section's cover awkward to open with one hand, Has little grip.
Drawers a bit flimsy in construction. When freezer drawer is full, we have to be careful when pulling it out, or the handle can come apart.
Must remember to switch off the Fast Freezing!!

+ This is a well priced fridge freezer and met our needs perfectly. It is reasonably quiet and there is loads of fridge space.

+ I Think Hotpoint are a very gd make and I have bought many items the same make and find them very gd. my dishwasher was a present 18 years ago and its the best one I have ever seen and used as I have used my friends and dont like the layout you never seem to get everything in.

- None. Except I wish I had more money to buy some more equipment.
