Hotpoint WT960 reviews: Front Loading loading, 7kg capacity washing machine

+ Very easy to use & install. Cycle times are average but its good that you can see how much time is remaining. Very quiet the only time you can tell its on is when the final spin is running.

- I haven't come across any bad points yet and its been used 3 times a week for 3 months.

+ Looks fantastic & the blue lcd is amazing to look at! Wash efficiency good & spin is excellent. Love the way you are able to adjust the preset temps & spin times.

- slightly noisier than I expected - perhaps this is because I have a tiled floor...?

+ Found machine holds a good amount of washing,is quiet and has plenty of cycles.
Also I like to use the lower temperatures as the washing is not usually dirty but needs a short wash to freshen it up.

- Would have liked a 1600 spin on more of the cycles if that was possible.

+ You can select a variety of wash loads and adjust temperature and spin speed accordingly - it tells you how long each wash cycle will take.

Very good choice of programmes which can be cut time-wise by choosing various options.
Delay timer very useful to enable cheaper rate of electricity to be used.

+ It is an excellent product. I cannot believe how quiet it is (filling and spinning). No longer do we have to close the kitchen door when washing.

+ Very Good Machine, We have found the timer to be extremely useful. Set the timer, go to bed and put the clothes in the dryer in the morning. Set the timer, go to work and put the clothes in the dryer when you get in.

+ This is a really good family washer with large load and good wash performance/cycle times.

- The preprogrammed choices give a lot of variety and flexibility but sometimes cannot get the required sombination of spin speed, temp etc.

+ Reliable brand, like the LCD display and fact that it tells you how much longer cycle has to run. Also the stored programme facility for the most used programme.

- I am still trying to get my head round the other cycle options to the one I use most and the fast wash.

+ 1600 spin speed is better than i imagined. Infact we only use up to 1400 as thsi is so good!

- Buttons stick in after a while, does not spin on woolens wash. They recommend to clean it!!! Soap tray gets very mouldy even though we use liquid straight into the drum with the clothes! Clothes can smell even after just a couple of hours sitting. Not recommended for use overnight as they stink when they come out.

+ Good choice of programmes. Push button operation very easy. Being able to change the temperature, five degrees at a time is really useful. Being able to change the spin speed is very helpful. This machine is very quiet which is particularly good as we use economy 7 and the washing is done in the early hours of the morning. Extra capacity very useful. This is a good looking machine which is nice as it is on show in the kitchen.

- A little awkward to get the soap into the pre-wash drawer as it is behind the fabric conditioner container.

+ Absolutely lovely piece of machinery. Certainly lessened my washing loads by so much. Easy button usage. Pretty straight forward. Overall a great machine.

- Had a glich at the start. Buttons did stick, only happened once.Quickly resolved. The cycle times are long as they use cold water supply only, well it feels long, didn't have timer on last. Also, noise.We use to have a built in machine, so this sounded maybe slightly louder, due those reason.

+ Love this machine. I am use to American washer machines (larger) and this one comes closest to one. Easy to use and a great load size, cuts down the wash by a load.
