+ There are plenty of cycles to choose from and the option to change temperature and spin speeds which is very useful. Great drum size. Very handy having a timer to tell you how long the cycle has left.

+ so easy to use, cycles are so fast, people said it was niosey but i disagree its not. i love the fact that its black. my clothes have never been as clean. its a bigger drum so can get all king size bedding in one load. i would never ever go with any other washng machine. i love all the programmes and the reduce crease cycle does actually bring items out less creased, instead of it being a gimmick. i would reccomed this to everyone and anyone.

+ It is a very good washing mashine in itself but the cycle times are ridiculous!

- Normal 40 degree wash takes 1 hour 25 mins!!!!

- None that I can think of although I have been using the liquid pouches in the drum and I have noticed a residue of gel gathering around the rubber at the door

+ Everything about this product is fantastic. I was wary at first reading reviews saying this machine was noisy, but when I actually got my washing machine I found that to be a load of nonsense. Child lock is a life saver as is half load cycle. Also the variety of wash cycles on this machine is fantastic for the price also giving you the economical nwashes at 15 degrees. Asked if I would recommend this machine to a friend - absolutely without any hesitation.

- As people have pointed out some washes are a little long but they are only the very high temp cotton washes, all others are spot on.

+ There is a great fast wash cycle, it's very quiet and looks fantastic! All with a brand I trust. I have had Hotpoint apliances in the past, one that I passed on to my mother and it's been going about 25 years! It's a brand that gives you your money's worth!

+ Very easy to use, the washing comes out after each spin cycle nearly dry, (which is excellent). With the depth being less than my previous washing machine it fits much better into the kitchen space, it is very quiet, and the programs are very easy to use.

- The control knob on the front would be better if it could be retracted, so it would be flush with the front panel.
(more difficult for children to mess with).

+ I am very satisfied with the washing machine, I like the eco programme, just for two of us I can wash a little often. We live in an apartment and so I am happy with the good spin and so thing dry quickly inside.

+ I like the different cycles

- Machine is very noisey when working and several times the machine has stopped mid cycle and has said that the door is open. The only thing that can be done is to switch it off at the plug and re start it.

+ very easy to use, great choice of cycles, the quick wash we use for most cycles can clean a load in 40 minutes, very effficient and also energy efficient

+ Large drum, with 3 children under 3 it is an essential. This machine does wash after wash without any problems. The child lock is a great feature which means the little ones cannot turn it on inadvertantly or damage the electronic panel at the front by pressing too many buttons. Energy saving too.

+ I had new expensive washing machine for 4 months before it broke down, I had repairs for the next six months until I got fed up and demanded my money back and got a Hotpoint. It costs less has more functions and is faultless. Speaks for itself. !!!!!

- Could do with a quicker 40 degree wash, my old machine did a 30 degree in 30 mins and a 40 degree in 40 mins.
My gas man commented on the noise it made.

+ I wanted a black washer and when I saw this moel and knew that Hotpoint was a very good brand I just had to have it. I like the cold wash which i was not aware of when I purchased it. It is very easy to operate and the clothes are wonderfully dry after the fast spin which is good as I live in an apartment. I dry my washing on an airer on thr balcony and this takes a short time thanks to super spin. I think it is a very good looking machine. I do not have heavily soiled washing and it certainly gets my stuff clean.

- It is noisy as I live in an apartment I do not feel I could have this washer on late at night or early morning it would not be fair on my neighbours underneath me. The washing cycles take a long time. The other washer I used had a short wash of 30 minutes for lightly soiled which i liked more.

- Door rubber seems to keep rubbing on something as keep finding little bits on the rim.Washing doesnt seem to smell quite as fresh when emptying it as my old machine did, dont know if this is a problem or unique to me!!
