- The manual states that the light turns on when it reaches the desired temperature, but actually it turns off.
No child lock.

- As others have mentioned the tray is a bit tight and the handle for the grill pan is a bit rubbish. I had to have the pipe to my gas hob altered because this oven is deeper than my old one - however this was my own fault for not measuring properly!

- Poor quality, the white enamel finish is actually pale grey when compared to my white fitted kitchen, and the fan is very noisy.
The rungs inside the oven do not clean up and do not compare with the quality of my original Wirlpool oven.

+ We replaced our 3 year old integrated Whirlpool (which had gone terminally wrong!) with this unit after good experiences with our Hotpoint dishwasher and washing machine. This doesn't disappoint - gets up to heat very quickly and doesnt have the heat leak which the Whirlpool had. Hopefully it will last longer than the Whirlpool which was awful.

- The hob dials go the opposite way from every other hob I have had or seen.

- the stainless steel surface of the gas hob is difficult to keep clean and the markings on the on/off/regulating knobs are difficult to read; frequently turn on/off the wrong burner. The knobs do not appear to be arranged in a logical order but I suppose thatI'll get used to this in time.

- Not really a bad point but the door could be a little more substantial, it is quite lightweight although I do not know enough about ovens to know whether this is detrimental to its efficiency but I have not encountered any problems at all because of it.

+ The shelves glide easily in and out so you can move shelves with one hand.
It looks stylish as I chose the stainless steel model.
The grill is just as big as the shelves which is great when making bacon sandwiches for all the family!

- It is not possible to remove the plug, so in order to fit the oven we had to take the wire out the back of the oven which took ages. Would be better if it was fitted with a normal plug to make fitting into an already-fitted kitchen easier.

+ Its quiet, heats up quickly. Seems to be sound and reasonable value for money

- Not really a bad point, but something to keep in mind... The design of the rear panel for this oven means it wont tolerate any obstacles when installed - the oven space needs to be completely clear. In our case in the oven space we had a pipe running up the wall to one side which stopped us pushing the oven right back, so it protrudes very slightly. This hasnt been an issue for two other ovens we had.

+ Looks good easy to fit in unit, reaches temperature quickly. Simple to operate, although haven't tried cooking with the timer as yet. Am very pleased with it.

- Can't really find any bad points, the only thing I would say,the actual oven is a little small, not very good for a large family.

+ Simple to install. Clear Instructions. Good control over cooking temperatures. Ease of use. I would not hesitate to recommend this oven to any friend or relative. I'm sure it's not the best oven in the world but pound for pound it is great value for money.
