Oven is very effective - keeps accurate temperature
Easy to keep clean.
Burners are easy to control

- The trim looks cheap and badly finished (gaps in joints on handles).
The metal is very thin on the pan stands over the burners on the hop
The instruction booklet could benefit from diagrams (e.g. how to fit the oven shelves in the right way).

+ I find the product easy to clean and I love the fan assisted oven as it does cook quicker.

- I think the glass top should have a heat resistant coating to enable items taken out of the oven to be rested upon for stirring, turning etc. In the instruction book it says the shelves can be pulled out to a certain point for this purpose but they are not secure enough

+ A really good cooker. We wanted a gas hob and an electric oven. Very easy to use and fan oven cooks food evenly and quickly. Our last cooker's handles kept falling off but all knobs and handles are really sturdy on this model. Very safe as the gas is automatically shut off when the lid comes down.

+ The gas rings are, I am sure more powerful than my old model and the oven heats up very quickly. The fan is very quiet

- I chose a white finish and I found I quite often left the gas on because I barely noticed the flame against the white enamel. Now I make a point of double checking.
Altho I checked the measurements it seems to be further out from the wall and so restricts the cupboard next to it. The gas fitter wouldnt push it further back. Maybe I'll take another look at it

+ I needed a cooker that met both our requirements, new partner like his eggs cooked on gas. and i liked to be able to set oven to cook while I am out. and this does just that. I looked long and hard at all sorts of cookers and this was the best and the price was reasonable.

Conventional ovens heat from the bottom so the top of the oven will be slightly hotter than the bottom. This is useful when you’re cooking lots of different dishes at a time. However, they do take a little longer than fan ovens to heat up. Fan ovens circulate the air so that you get an even temperature throughout the oven. They are quicker to heat up which means they save on energy and time. Multifunction ovens give you the flexibility to use different methods of cooking. They usually have both fan and conventional settings as well as pizza settings that will only cook from the bottom, giving you a crispy pizza, or top-only cooking that is very useful for browning.

Self-cleaning ovens can come with catalytic liners or pyrolytic programmes. Calalytic liners are the bumpy surfaces which line the inside walls of the oven. They absorb the food and grease and break it down so that the oven is easier to clean. Pyrolytic programmes run for a couple of hours and burn off all the grime in your oven at temperatures up to 500°C. As it gets so hot, the oven door usually locks so that all you need to do is sweep up the ash that’s left over at the end.
