+ Does what it says on the tin :-))) Cleans well - and that's what counts!

- Does not give the wash temps in the instruction book - well, not that I can find.
Does not dry completely without the Extra Dry button in use. My old washer dried really well on all the settingts that had a drying mode in them.

+ Good clean quality. Very quiet.

- Top rack a bit awkward to load effectively. Could fit more into old design of rack.

+ Huge capacity, low noise, delay timer (essential for us), cleans well, dries well, wide choice of programmes (some of which we will probably never use!) and options, useful programme count-down display.

- On/off switch a bit heavy, delay timer can only be set in whole hours (not really a problem to us as we run it overnight), programmes a bit long (same comment as above). Mind-boggling matrix of programmes and options, some combinations of which are not allowed. We have to keep the manual on top of it for reference!
Only small niggles - so far it is a great success.

+ Easy to delay it to run during cheap electricity times and no buzz like my sister in law's when completed, which wakes us all up. Very quiet , good washer, very happy with it

- stacking isn't easy, feels like we should get more into the spacel.

+ It's easy to use, it's not noisy, cleans very well in fact I liked this product so much that I've just bought a hotpoint washing machine and tumble dryer.

- Not made as strong as our old washer also not the same colour choice (our last one was two tone )

+ this machine is so quiet, the first few times i used it i had to check it was actually working. Generally this machine is a very good washer with the added bonus of "salt" and "rinse aid" indicator lights to tell you when they need topping up.

- the cycle the manufacturer advises you to use is the "economy cycle", although this washes really very well it takes nearly 3 hours to complete which is rather a long time.

- 1. Doesn't seem to dry properly every thing still wet when cycle finnished.
2. Try as i might this 14 place dishwasher does not easy accept 14 place settings and wash well.
3. The on and off buttons are in just the right place so when you lean over the counter you catch the buttons and either switch it on/off or pause the cycle.

+ very quiet

- cups fall over on the top rack when machine is being closed so they do not wash properly. pasta dishes do not fit on bottom rack unless top rack is at the highest (which can only be done when the tip up compartments are removed).

+ I spent days researching new dishwashers on the web (not much else to do when my back had gone!). If money were no object I'd have gone for a Miele or Siemens as they came top of the reviews. However, for about half the price, I plumped for this washer which was given a bronze award in the reviews and it hasn't disappointed. It's washes really well and is very quiet (not had to resort to the quieter setting!). Plenty of room for dishes, pans etc., plenty of useful wash cycle options.

- None really, though the buttons can turned on/off easily if someone brushes them. Not a problem for upright adults, but for floppy teenage daughters hovering nearby to reach the kettle, we found the machine being turned on and off by mistake!

top tray has to be on highest setting to accommodate large plates at bottom, thereby making the side racks at the top near useless
