+ WELL THOUGHT OUT ITEM

- NOT ENOUGH SHELVES

+ Generally the oven performs well. The size of the large oven was important when we were researching for a new oven-There you go ladies+gents, size does matter! (especially for cooking for family and friends)

- Grill pan a bit small should be larger. There should be 3 oven shelves supplied as standard with the oven instead of two

- The only thing we're not too happy with are the grill functions. None are as good as our old cooker. They take ages to warm up.

+ Looks good, easy to use (apart from knobs) and clean.

- Knobs slippy and difficult to use. Still getting used to it, but oven seems slightly cooler than my last Hotpoint and therefore things take slightly longer to cook.

- Clock and timing seem easy to upset

+ easy to use in the main giving good results esp. roasts.

- timer / programmer a little awkard to understand and use.

+ The good points are really basic requirements: one large, one small oven; grill at eye level.

- There seems to be minimal insulation between the top and bottom ovens so that the top oven gets really hot when the bottom oven is in use even though the top oven is not being used. Good for warming plates but wasteful of electricity.
I wanted an oven that is easy to keep clean. This is no easier to keep clean that any other oven and because you say one can't line the floor of the ovens with tinfoil, it is even less so.

+ Design, colour, controls

- none

+ Large interior. Wide enough to fit large baking trays etc. Easy to wipe front of oven clean

- Have to leave grill door open when grilling but get used to it.

+ It looks good and the controls are easy to operate. The floor of the oven is easy to 'get at' for cleaning. The clock is very clear to read.

- I think the fan running after the oven is switched off is an unnecessary expense and defeats my object of buying A rated appliances. The oven could cool down safely without the fan.
I find I have to allow longer cooking times to what I would expect.
The shelves are not the easiest to glide along the runners.
The inner glass door moves too much when the glass is cleaned.

+ Delighted with the oven so far - we find the small oven very useful when there is just 2 of us - no problems as yet, just hope this continues for a few years to come. Good value for money at the price we paid.

- Only one very minor criticism is that small oven does not cook too evenly - but that does not really bother me as I make allowances - still delighted with oven and would not wish to change it
