+ Doesn't take up much room when laid out. Love the sliding/reverse direction. Cars seem robust. Crash barriers stop the cars flying across the room

- Only one layout possible so limited scope.

+ Easy construction, even for 9 year olds.
Less time putting the cars back on the track as the drift mode spins them around instead.
Younger siblings able to use it easily, plus big kids too!

- Time spent cleaning the brushes underneath the cars as all the spinning and drifting creates a bit more wear off the track.

+ Overall a great product. Great fun for my five year old loves the sliding cars, easy to use and perfect size for his bedroom.

- The side parts of the track fall off very easy and after a while have trouble with the contacts on the cars and they either slow down or stop completely until cleaned, however this is the same with my husbands large set too - so normal for scalextric. Also as the cars slide they smash into each other and bits break off!

+ Easy to purchase more track, cars etc. to add on to the set.

- The 360 contact point on the underneath of the cars can be faulty and takes fiddling with to get the electrics to hit each other exactly right before the cars will work.
Also, we've had a problem with one of the controller ports in the electical part of the track not working. Fortunately it started working again and hasn't happened again yet.
