+ Fast spin cycle dries the washing much better. Drum size is good. Wash cycles are easy to understand. Quiet machine.

- There is no way of telling on the machine how long a wash cycle is going to last. Timer Wash is only in 3 hour increments, with a maximum of 9 hours, which is a bit limiting.

+ washes really well on 59 min cycle.

- makes funny noises, but they are not loud.

+ Spins and drys well, easy to use controls and ergonomic looking.

- haven't had it lomg enough or used enough to really judge. Need instruction book for quite a few uses to work out which cycle suits best

+ Easy to use, spins clothes really dry and energy efficiency rating good.

- A little noisy and although the colours cycle isn't too bad, the cold fill for energy efficiency means that the whites wash at 60C is incredibly long. But...........I did have a very old washer before which filled from both taps so I would really notice the difference here.

- the only machine i've had where smaller items get lodged around glass in door and miss the spin, so come out satturated still.

- It makes an horrific noise ~ im on eco 7 as we have no gas. No longer can i do an early morning wash or even when my fiance gets in at 9am, even my neighbours have complained!
The dial settings take a bit of getting used too as there are duplicate of everything!
It has the smallest drum i have ever seen in a machine ~ i struggle to get 3 sheets in there!
Now it appears that if i dont have the dial bang in the centre of the cycle setting ~ the machine jumps out 2ft and up half a ft, which is quite scary if theres a child about!
I hate this machine and will be buying a new one after christmas.

+ The machine looks tidy and has a large door which makes loading and unloading a doddle. The wide variety of cycles isn't likely to get fully utilised by us, but the of course we do have the option, and the quick cycles are particularly useful. Seems to clean very well and is reasonably quiet. Easy to install.

- Don't get the point of having a timer on a washing machine, not really a bad thing but would have preferred to have paid less not to have the option, whilst keeping other features.

+ Good capacity with large door and can be set to come on automatically via the 3/6/9 hour timer. Is extremely quiet in use.

- Difficult to manoeuvre under worktop as it does not have wheels to the rear of machine.

+ Quiet running and when spinning the machine is perfectly balanced and does not jump all over the floor. Good cycle length and easy to understand washing cycle instructions. Lots of programme options, small machine casing housing decently sized drum.

- Filter screw is badly designed, took me forever to align it again to shut but it was not properly shut and the kitchen flooded and the neighbour's flat below so that I now face a claim and that with a brand new machine, I do not dare to wash with it again, eventhough I asked a friend to come over and tighten it. I think this is a design fault and likely to happen to other people. Also, the instructions are photocopied and 2 pages are missing, and they would have covered the filter issue.

+ This was the best choice of machine available for the money, it is very easy to use and has multi-settings for spin cycle, delayed start modes and is very quiet compared to my old Hotpoint machine. ( I was a bit concerned after reading some reviews on the size of the drum, but when you see the diameter of the drum compared to most you will see the 6kg load is obviously a true reflection of the maximum load although I have put more in with on issues.)

- No bad points it does exactly watch the manufacturers description says.

+ Nice large drum and is quiet.

- You can't select both temperature and wash time. If you select a wash time of 60 minutes the temperature is pre-set to 60 degrees, which is too hot. If you select temperature the wash time for 40 degrees takes 100 minutes.
The max spin creases clothes, the medium spin leaves clothes too wet. The fabric conditioner seems to disappear and the washing feels as if none is used but I'm using double the amount I used with my old machine.

+ easy to set up, worked instantly, great improvement in versatility over our former Hotpoint washing machine circa 1989 [yes, still working up to 2009 until programmer went intermittent!]

- instruction book had large number of programmes and to a degree was initially confusing in selecting washing requirements. Otherwise the machine itself is OK

- Can't alter spin speed. It is set with various cycles. I would have liked short cycle to have max spin speed but you can't have it.

- Design fault, if you use a ball to insert detergent directly into the drum it gets jammed between the glass on door and rubber seal eg. to much space available. This has caused damage to rubber seal during spin cycle, so not happy as I have now got to chase this up with supplier I guess.

- Ok so the drum size is 6kg BUT only able to make use of this using a few programmes. As a married mother of 4 teenagers with an 80 plus year old parent to wash for my main aim is to wash and dry as much as possible, as quickly as possible. How VERY disappointing to find that some programmes take over THREE hours. Bitterly regret buying this machine.

- When using cycles with lower spin speed clothes take ages to dry especially if having to dry indoors on a wet day.Some of the cylces / programmes seem long and difficult to understand so I have mainly used two of the timed programmes. I actually still prefer my Zanussi Jet wash just wish it hadn't died on me. It was a hot and cold water fill and washed my clothes brilliantly.

+ i have been looking for a washing machine with different cycles on it and this one fit the bill perfectly it's got all the usual cycles plus 3 ones at 29,44.and 59mins brilliant.Very easy to use fantastic machine.

+ It was in the reasonably priced bracket (not cheap but not expensive). It has quick cycle times. It cleans as well as if you had run a full cycle.

- the spin speed on the two shortest washes are not good enough. The washing takes alot to dry!

+ It is simple to use , the drum size won't allow it to be overloaded, two selections of spin speed 1600 and 800. A economical 44 minute wash for half loads. The 30 degree wash can be used on most washes rather than 40. Can see that the machine calculates the optimum water amount for the wash load so hopefully water bills will come down!

- A greater range of spins e.g 1200 would have been good. Only takes half load for 44 minutes wash. The wash cycle is noiser than I expected.

+ It is a good washing machine. It's perfect for small loads as it has a 29 minute wash. I would recommend this washing machine to those who are looking for something practical and with ease of use. The drum size, although may look small, is actually quite roomy. Good all round.
