Hitachi LS AX-M82D MICRO Micro Hi Fi System Hi Fi System Reviews: DAB with CD Player

+ A great little hi fi that has DAB, fm cd AND a cassette deck, which is very rare. The ariel supplied is more than adequete, and the DAB is a revelation. Sound quality is great for the price, on all day and no probs. A good cheap intro to a new digital age!

- Can't just plug and go, you HAVE to read the manual to understand Hitachi's 'way' of doing things, a slight tedious but worth it.

Clear sound without any noticeable distortion (even at full volume!)

+ Brilliant compact hi fi. Purchased for 89 year old mother with hearing difficulties who wanted radio, cd and cassette player; she can work this easily especially with remote. The sound is really good and fills a really big lounge with no distortion.

- None really, except would like option to turn off blue light on volume control and the product stays on standby if not switched off at plug socket.

- It has to sit on a shelf in my kitchen which is not at eye level, the CD loading position is on top so I have to reach up and use it 'blind'. It would have been better if it had been a front loader but that wasn't in the specification so I didn't know when I bought it.

- I can't get my favourate station Lincs fm I seem to be out of their area, still trying though.
