Really like the sleek quality design, piano black top with circular markings and silver keyboard surround with same markings. Excellent build quality and slim design. Crisp, clear, high definition screen (no dead pixels) with integrated low light 1.3mp webcam with two microphones. Full size keyboard with no flexing when typing. Touch sensitive quick launch, volume, play/pause, ffwd, revs buttons were a pleasant and pleasing suprise. Processor (2GHz dual core AMD) is very good for everyday tasks such as browsing internet, emailing and watching movies, have yet to do any picture editing tho wont be a problem due to the dedicated 256mb Nvidia graphics card installed. I wont use this for gaming but have read it is quite capable. All the input/output connections you can think of including HDMI tho no bluetooth but not needed in my opinion. Also included is a mini remote control when watching movies, this is stored in the express slot so wont get lost or misplaced. A second bay for an additional hard disk is available to increase storage capacity, another pleasant suprise. Plenty of additional software included. Overall a top end laptop at a very very good price.
-
Could do with a larger hard drive. Supplied with 120GB but after recovery partition, Vista installation and other software only left approx 50-60GB tho can be increased with additional secondary drive. Other than that no problems so far after 3 weeks.

Bit of a boring design and a little heavy in comparison to what else is out there...had to buy something within the hour and I chose this....to be fair, it does the job...with a bit more time on my hands I could have probably got something better.

the 5-in-1 card reader is a nice function, for transferring data, photos etc automatically. Of course this baby comes into its own when you play DVD's or watch anything online. superb sound and vision.

screen size, looks and price. Quite quick and the operating system is sleek and lovely to use. Overall a nice machine. But next time I will save a little more money and buy a higher end laptop.
-
Of course we are talking about a cheap laptop here, and its my first laptop, but I have a few comments. Firstly it feels as though it won't last very long, keys are lose and the whole thing has a very flimsy feel to it. The sound is quite poor too, the volume doesn't go high enough for my liking. Battery life is very very poor. But as i said above, its a cheap machine so perhaps you pay for what you get. I don't dislike it, but I had higher expectations. I just have to get used to it now.

A recovery CD/DVD with an operating system and laptop drivers would have been a good idea.
My first experience of Windows Vista which is dreadfully slow and cluttered with unecessary programs - once you clean this up and disable unecessary startup's the machines speed is very good. If running with full Vista features you really need more than 2Ghz of ram.
