Knex - Ultimate Big Air Ball Tower

+ It' a big build which takes time and is ideal for my 13 year old

- The blower isn't as powerful as it probably should be and doesn't blow one of the heavier balls up the chute.

+ kept my son entertained for days whilst he built it.

- was too large to store practically and as it took days to build was not a viable toy. batteries cost nearly ten pounds and lasted a couple of hours. went into bin on 4th january.

+ My 10-year old son really wanted this toy and it absorbed him for a whole day. It's been a permanent fixture in his room ever since.

- It needs regular adjustments to make sure the balls end up where they are supposed to !

+ This is a product which enables parents to get involved in playing with their kids - it is difficult to know who is more excited - dad or lad!!

- It is still not yet built (spent about 6 hours in total on it so far) so you have to find somewhere to store it until next time you work on it. It's quite big!

+ very entertaining for my children. Loved building it together.

- Sometimes not very easy to follow instructions

+ My son loves it. He's only 7, so needed a bit of help, but will grow into it.

- It's big and my son won't allow me to take it apart :)

Doesn't work perfectly when made - top heavy and moves out of shape

+ Cheap to purchase and you can use it to make other models.

- The air tower design itself is unstable; it doesn't sit vertically, which means it doesn't work properly. The balls get stuck half way up or launch themselves off the model. This is very disapointing as previous Knex models I purchased have worked well.

+ Very impressive when working patience and following instructions necessary instructions are clear.

- Some bits are fiddly and can take some tinkering to get everything going once its been built I am not sure about rebuild value.

+ Booklet very good at describing what to build. Kept the kids busy and interested for a long time - fantastic!

- Once built, not easy to move, so make sure you have room to play with it or the kids won't get much time to play with it. Also sags over time due to the combined weight, so constant tinkering is required - although I don't nescessarily think this is a bad thing as it teaches kids how adjustments are required to keep things running smoothly.
