+ Great sound/volume. Nice neat little speaker system for your ipod, love it. Comes with its own padded storage bag which has a little pocket to keep your ipod safe and a pocket for the remote control and ac adapter. Fantasic for taking with you anywhere. I played mine in the car when I had a problem with the car stereo. So happy with purchase.

- The only thing is that the batteries are difficult to put in and even more difficult to take out, really difficult as a tight fit but I can live with it!

• The sound quality is the best thing considering its size, good clarity in small or large rooms as well as outside spaces and even at full volume there's no distortion and very loud.
• The remote has a good range.
• Useful that it charges up your ipod when docked onto it.

- • If using batteries in the product, they don't last very long.
• If you have a rubber sleeve to protect your ipod on, it won't fit into the dock, just a bit awkward having to take it on and off all the time.
• Could risk losing the remote as it a bit too small for my liking, and it doesn't look very robust if it drops onto the floor.

- Colour of print on remote (hard to see which button controls what). Problems fitting the correct sized base piece for the ipod to sit in hardly mentioned in set up booklet.

+ For an audio device so small and cheap you cannot find better. I have tried many small ipod speakers and they sound as if they are made of tin. If you want better buy a Bose it will cost four times as much and ten times the size. For a small room this item is perfect and it is portable.

- Sound quality is quite good, but slightly below expectations in the light of some earlier reviews. I was hoping for a slightly better bass sound, but it is still better than most other travel speakers of similar size (and some of much higher price)

- The cover on the battery compartment only stays securly in place when there are batteries in the speaker, so I have just shoved mine into the travel case for safe keeping

+ The design is great, it comes with a remote control and it is powered by batteries which makes it very portable. The maximum volume is very acceptable.

- The sound quality quickly deteriorates with batteries and in general, the sound distortes fairly quites.

+ Excellent price (It was on half price offer when I bought it) with a great sound for the price and size. Convenient to carry and comes with own carry case and remote. I have a larger ipod speaker for the home and this is a great travel option with sound that isn't tinny and doesn't crackle.

- One major flaw in my opinion is that the remote doesn't come with a power on/off button so you have to get out of bed at night to switch off the system. Not a terrible flaw but annoying.

+ The sound is great and especially from something so small, much better than my CD player was.

+ I wanted the speaker to make use of my i-pod whilst at work or share music when going to the park with the family. It is excellent for what I wanted it for - has a handy carry case and re-mote

- When turning it on the volume is quite loud so you have to turn the volume down before adding the i-pod. The battery cover is sentive and has a habit of unlocking/falling off

+ Bought for my daughter's bedroom, I can assure you that it provides a really powerful sound even though it is quite a small speaker. The clarity of the music also seems very good and I think it looks good as it's quite a quirky design!

- The only bad point is that the battery cover is very loose and falls off easily (a bit of gaffer tape solved that problem!) - but that's only a problem if you are transporting it.
