+ sounds great, remote is great

- fiddly docking for ipod, once in it is ok

+ Amazing sound quality, beats most of the competition, even those that are a price bracket higher! Consider this instead of a micro hi-fi, it sounds as good as many of them!

- Quite heavy - wouldn't want to carry it too far, but who cares when it sounds this good!

+ Solid and quality spring to mind when using this product. My sister has the BOSE IPOD speakers, I had my mind set on the BOSE until I heard these at a APPLE shop in london. Some reviews state that the bass is too heavy. I found ths at first when I had the EQ on the IPOD set to rock. After a turned the EQ off I felt it was a much better sound. It handles with ease anything from my girlfriends chilled out tunes to bassy dance tunes we have pumping on a saturday night for some pre club drinks with friends. I have had the volume high with many different types of music, I have never heard any lack in the quaility of sound. Looks wise they seem to wow people when they see them. They also would fit well into any room decor.

- I can only think of two after living with these speakers for a couple of months now. 1) not being able to see the ipod screen sometimes gets a bit irritating. You can control the ipod ans scroll through the menus using the remote. I cant see the real point when you cant see the screen. 2) My girlfriends complains that they are a bit big. I agree that they do take up quite a bit of room. 3) The remote is quite hard to work out if you want to start using it to go through the ipod menus (see 1) The one more thing I would say and this is not really a bad point: The speakers grills at the rear are not speakers. This unit only as two speakers at the front. You might be able to hear sound coming from one rear speaker but not thye other. This is because one of the rear grills as a hole behind it to help with bass. The other rear one is just for show.....so dont be fooled yours is not faulty .

+ Sound quality excellent, like what you would expect from a hi-fi. The remote control just enhances your listening pleasure. The remote control compartment very handy.

- Fiddly engaging the ipod Nano 3G. No Nono 3G docking adapter in black supplied so had to use white one supplied with ipod.

- bit fiddly to see screen on i-pod once docked, otherwise perfect

+ The go and play will except most mp3 players and is very portable, all of this coupled with a great sound makes it a very affordable docking station.

- The stainless steel carrying handle makes it a bit awkward to see the screen on the ipod, but is not really any problem.

+ Sound quality is out of this world - by far better than the Bose sound dock which we considered. A good looking piece of equipment, stylish and simple in design. Easy to charge the ipod without need of computer or dock. Suitable for all types of ipod - adaptors included.

- Not particularly portable - quite heavy to carry around, wouldn't like to take it out, although easy to move from room to room. No adjustable bass/treble levels, but not really needed as the quality of sound so good and can be adjusted on the ipod itself.

+ Fantastic, room filling sound. Used it for a party and had big sound with no distortion at high volume.

- Remote doesn't work with non-iPods e.g. Sony MP3. You have to connect the non-iPod up to the unit by little cable provided.

+ Bass is very punchy, Far better than the Bose equivalent. Sound is also good with clear midrange. Well worth the money.
