+ 1. Compact and lightweight design - can be easily removed from cradle and carried in pocket for security. Screen cradle is also small and compact (unlike many other makes I have seen). 2. Quick and generally very good routing calculation with clear directions. 3. Text-to-Speech (TTS) pronounces road names, making turn identification much easier than simple "Turn left, turn right" commands. 5. Very useful "Detour" facility in the event of traffic problems. 5. Menu system is easy to use. 6. Excellent set of pre-loaded "Points of Interest" (hotels, restaurants, petrol stations, railway stations etc.) including telephone numbers. Can also create and upload your own customised Points of Interest. 7. Regular software updates by Garmin to iron out glitches. 8. Supports speed-camera alerts (very useful!) 9. Lots of additional features - MP3 player, travel guide, world clock, calculator, phrase translator (with audio voice) etc. Highly recommended.

- 1. Only 1 waypoint allowed - makes it awkward to plan a route with various stops, or to force a particular route. 2. Bluetooth hands-free doesn't always hang-up automatically when the person at the other end of the line hangs up. You have to press the "End Call" button as well (distracts from driving). 3. Some female TTS (Text-To-Speech) voices not very clear or loud (male and non-TTS voices are fine). 4. Sometimes it is more interested in telling you about speed camera alerts than giving you directions. This sometimes becomes a problem in busy city centres. (Can get round this by switching off the speed camera alerts).

+ Very versatile unit with an MP3 player, Sat Nav, Travel kit and bluetooth phone. Very easy to use. Allows you ti enter roud number and names such as A41

- Speaker faces away from the driver so sound quality is not as good as it could be. traffic updates tend to only have the major roads but this is not a fault of Garmin but of RAC traffic alerts.

+ pocket size, safety cameras, all of Europe, traffic announcements works well on bluetooth and phone as hands free (but check Garmin.com website for degree of phone compatibility)

- 1) only searches on first 4 digits of post code but you can then pick the road/ house you want
2)a funny quirk rather than a problem- it only thinks you can cross the Channel by the Tunnel- will actually get you to board a ferry then do a U-turn and head back to Tunnel- you just need to program the route as two journeys- you'll have plenty of time while on the ferry.

+ good for pinpointing and simple to use, picks up satellites quickly, adapts to route changes and the traffic master is quite hand for motorway travelling

- cannot just go to a village or town without having to choose a street and house number, doesnt for example just take you to the town centre like some other systems.

+ Overall very pleased with the unit which is small, portable & battery powered with lots of added features such as MP3 player and picture viewer. Can be used for Geocaching as well, using the satellite view.

- Mechanically fiddly to fit in the car especially the external FM traffic receiver and the power cable, which are both too short, to route neatly around the seat and dashboard.

+ Easy to use and accurate

- Annoying (although useful!) beeping noise in speed camera zones. Must look at the screen as the voice is not always clear about where you need to go and is sometimes a bit late, particularly at roundabouts.

+ Easy to set up and use. Works straight from the box. Very accurate. Reached many destinations with no problems. Highly Recommended.

- Traffic system is not too accurate, However, that is not the fault of the unit as if relies on FM Transmissions from local radio stations.

When missing a turning the GPS is very quick at recalculating a new route.
Display and Audio very good even when the car radio is on.

+ It is small and fairly simple to use.

- It takes you on the most obscure routes and minor roads even lanes that have grass growing in the middle, whether you have changed the shortest/fastest option or not. I would like to see "town centre" or "harbour" on it as sometimes you don't have a propper destination in mind.

+ Clarity of the verbal instructions and good all round screen viability,an absolute god send recently whilst house hunting,we were able to go from one property to the next without wondering how far or how long it would take, it was all there on screen

- Occasional confusion between a bend and another road, this only takes a couple of instances before you learn how the 360t reacts to certain conditions.

+ works in our car which has a heated windscreen. TOMTOMs do not work in the car without an extra aerial fitted. It's great having lifetime traffic reports and the safety camera alerts are brilliant. Several times it has diverted us round holdups on the motorway. We have discovered many shortcuts that have saved us time.
