+ Does almost everything for fitness monitoring and with a built in GPS so you always know where you are
Very compact design and an easy to read screen which is also customizable to display what you wannt to see.
Very quick to acquire satellites
Easy to setup for multible Bikes/activities/users

- Minor points as I think this is a great piece of kit
Can't link with Memory map to download data into that and can only use Garmins mapsoure/memory map maps (and they aren't as good)
Doesn't seem to have a quick way to change profiles
Extra Speed/Cadence sensors are quite expensive (Though they do supply 2 bike mounts in the box)
Doesn't have Bluetooth so you have to connect by cable
Software available to download but has some limitations (However they are developing online software though this has it's faults at present)

+ The Garmin Edge is unique in design and handling. Self explanatory. Great support from Garmin and a lot of FOC gimmicks available on the internet. POI Loader and Training Center is great. Bluetooth works perfectly.

- Installation on PC is sometimes a little bit tricky. Basemap Europe is not very detailed.

- It takes ages for the GPS to find Satellites. The base map is rubbish.
