+ It finds and tunes station, although in the wrong order (i.e., frequency order, not programme order, and has to be re-shuffled, tediously).
It works well, when it works.
It is small, and consumes little energy.

- Timer recording is a nightmare; it is difficult without trifocal glasses, and fingers like a watchmaker whose hobby is safebreaking. It has an intermittent fault, too, sometimes (~10 to 20% of the time) failing to record although set correctly. It was returned and replaced with a more expensive model, this very day.
The manual is a translation from some Eskimo language by a Martian.

- User guide and user interface are poorly designed and confusing. There is NO display on the unit so all programming etc has to be completed on the screen of the TV
