+ Incredibly easy to use and nagivate around. The display screen is a good size and the camera is not too heavy or bulky. Downloading pictures off camera is easy and all software and equipment for this is supplied with camera.
- When using flash, it flashes twice, which most people don't expect so they move after the first flash and pictures come out blurry. The battery life indicator says the battery is low very quickly, however I continued using it for a long time after the symbol came up, which makes me wonder if the battery indicator works properly or not. Need to buy a memory card, otherwise only holds 7 pictures at a time.

+ At the moment I have had no problems and everything seems to be very easy to use.
- If I had to complain about anything I would say that I would prefer to have a 'hard' copy of the manual rather than on disc.

+ Great camera large screen and very sharp picture quality....a bargain
- none

+ Small enogh to fit into a pocket.
- No viewfinder, very difficult to see the subject in sunlight (but maybe that's the case for all cameras without viewfinders). It was a mistake fo me to choose a camera without one. Long delay between pressing the shutter and the picture being taken. Lots of "perfect pictures" missed. I wouldn't recommend this camera and wish I'd stuck to my first choice and paid more.

+ First class product using AA bateries that are readily obtainable so you don't have to depend on specialist rechargeables which are very expensive if you want a spare. I have purchased 2 for family use.
- None so far.

+ Compact and low cost, for 3x Optical zoom

I bought this Camera for my young (8) daughter. It is great for what she needs and also satisfies my requirement that if she takes a good photo or I borrow her camera the image quality is such that I can reproduce it as necessary.
A good basic camera
- Yet to find any

+ easy to use, large LCD screen
- probably not may fancy features for a hobbiest but good for me

+ Good for a starting point, I bought this for my nephew, who is 11, as his first camera. Very easy to use, light and portable. Pretty much point and shoot.
- No view finder, odd for someone who has used the old film cameras for so long, but no problem for him as never used one before.

+ really good quality pics, good option for a vareity of light settings ease of transfere of imagers to pc
- have not found one yet

+ Easy to use, I bought this camera for my daughters 10th birthday and she used it straight away with no problems. Decent quality images, she can enlarge a small part of an image with reasonable results. Compact and easy to take anywhere, would recommend getting a case for carrying.
- Slightly small controls, my daughter accidentally turned on the timer when she took it out of it's case with disasterous results! Camera has very limited storage (about 7 photos) so you need a decent sized memory card.

+ small but with a big screen, easy to use
- if anything, a little too simple, but that could be a good point too
purchased 25 May 2009
+ Small compact size. Lots of picture presets.
- Zoom not very good. Camera doesnt perform indoors very well as pictures can turn out grainy.
purchased 30 Jun 2009
+ Good, solid feel. Easy to use, good size screen and excellent picture.

If you want great images at the touch of a button, then the A100 is the camera for you.
Capture your precious moments in High Resolution
Delivering an impressive 10 megapixel resolution, you will be amazed at the clarity of the images you take: clear, sharp and packed full of colour.
Easy-to-use
The A100 has been designed to make it simple to take a good photo. Perfect as a first time digital camera, the easy to use controls & intuitive graphical user interface make it a joy use.
2.7-inch LCD Screen
Composing and previewing your photos has never been so easy, the A100 features a large, bright 2.7" LCD screen.
There’s also a handy Micro Thumbnail View, which displays up to 100 small images on the back of the screen allowing you to quickly find your favourite shots.
Stylish Technology at your Fingertips
Affordable, yet still very compact & stylish, the A100’s body is a mere 21.7mm slim – compact enough to slip in to your pocket or bag, all ready for a day out with the family.
The smooth and elegant body features a soft curved front, which not only looks smart, but is comfortable to hold, too.
The A100 is available in silver or black.
3x Optical Zoom
With high-quality Fujinon optics your photos will be incredibly clear and crisp.
With an optical zoom of 3x (equivalent to 35.5-106.5 on a 35mm camera) and a digital zoom of 5.7x, the A100 offers an impressive total zoom range of 17.1×.
Memory
The A100 is compatible with SD™/SDHC™ memory cards and for further capacity, there’s also an impressive 20MB of internal memory so you don’t have to worry about filling up your memory card.
Perfect Portraits
Fujifilm’s software based Face Detection technology can instantly recognise up to six faces in the frame and optimises focus and exposure to reveal flawless people pictures.
Ban Red-Eye for good!
Featuring automatic elimination of red-eye during picture taking, you should never need to worry about ruined photos again.
Great Pictures made Easy
With 14 special scene modes, the A100 is ready to shoot everything and anything, from ‘Sunset’ and ‘Flower’ to ‘Baby’ and ‘Sport’.
Simply select a suitable scene position and the camera automatically selects the appropriate shutter speed, exposure and white balance to ensure that you get great images with the least amount of effort.
No More Hazy Days
The A100 is kitted out with Picture Stabilisation, which minimises image blur that can so often ruin photos. Fujifilm’s stabilisation system works automatically & ensures that image blurring and camera shake are kept to an absolute minimum.
Take good low-light shots
Photos taken in low light are the ones that are most likely to produce disappointing results. Limited flash range and direct light can mean the foreground is harshly lit and the background lost all together. If the flash isn’t used at all, the image can suffer from digital interference called ‘noise’ as the sensor struggles to pick up all of the detail in the scene.
Fujifilm has put 70 years of experience in imaging into fine-tuning the light sensitivity and flash systems of its cameras and you perhaps wouldn’t normally expect a camera placed at such an affordable price point, to house such technology – but we can assure you – it does.
Make your own Movie
Sometimes images just aren’t enough to capture that special moment. Relive your baby’s first steps or special celebrations with the A100’s Movie mode with sound, at 30 frames per second.
