+ I bought the camera for my mother who isn't the most technically minded. Within 10 minutes we had her taking pictures, video clips, zooming in and out and then previewing and deleting what she didn't want. The camera is therefor very straight forward to use with a nice big view finder at the back which makes previewing your pictures on the camera itself do-able.
The build quality of the Fuji cameras is always good, that's why this is the 5th Fuji camera I have bought recently!!
It's nice and compact and it can take a multitude of different memory cards which is handy.

- The only two bad points I can pick out with this camera is :
1) There isn't a view finder, only the screen to use to take your picture. This isn't the end of the world as most people don't tend to use the view finder option when they have a naice big screen to use.
2) You have to remove the battery from the camera to charge it up. This is only a slight inconvenience but you can't really grumble for the money.

+ Compact and light.

- Slow start-up.
Have to navigate through menus to set the camera to record a video, rather than just a one-touch system as on other cameras I've used.

+ Very good build quality, nice and compact with excellent lithium battery life, my last camera(samsung) eat the batteries at an incredible rate . Picture quality is very good, with easy upload facility and instructions . This is a recommended point and shoot camera.

- Limited editing and picture option, but I don't know if I would print sepia tints anyway.

+ Great camera - this is the 3rd I've bought, this time for a relative. Really easy to use. Bought the 1st for my 8 year old daughter who uses all the features. Good picture quality and easy to connect to PC and download.
Has a rechargeable lithium-ion battery - one of the cheapest (this was the main factor - don't get a digital camera that takes AA's - costs a fortune).
Get a 2gb SD card and it will hold 800 odd pictures and hours of video.

- None that I can think of.
