+ It is very simple to operate, very basic and ideal for taking along mountaineering or on difficult hikes where it is awkward to set up equipment, and one comes across an animal or a bird and quick action is required.
- One has to fumble a bit to make sure that it is recording and that the zoom button has not been operated in error

+ This camera is really simple to use and for the money the quality is really acceptible. You can play back the videos on your PC or on your TV via the cable provided. It is small and light so very easy to carry around with you. Download straight to YouTube, Facebook or similar
- Would have prefered it to have removable memory like SD card. Screen is a little small

+ Just point, press the button and shoot. Its as simple as that. I also liked the installed software. Plug the integral usb plug on the Flip into the the computer and within a few seconds its ready to transfer the data. The Flip is a fun thing that all of the family can use but if you expect high quality results stick to a digital camcorder.
- The stop start button on my particular Flip needs a good hard push before it will start or stop recording. The usb plug on the Flip seems a little bit on the flimsy side. I plug the Flip into a usb cable before i connect it to my computer.
