+ On both analogue and digital you get a beautiful, sharp picture. The HD works brilliantly. The TV itself looks great, it's a really elegant design and and it comes in white, which looks really cool.

- There is a slight delay when changing channels or volume (from the moment you press the remote button, to the TV reacting) but once you're used to that, it's no problem at all.

+ The TV is neat and being white is very discrete in the room.

- It might be a little slow in changing channels but apart from that I like it very much

+ component, 2 hdmi, 2 scart (1 RGB) so allows flexibility. also excellent as pc monitor pin sharp. there is an optical SPDIF output for sound as well as headphone socket. very low power consumption in standby. very stylish.

- audio range could better, more bass but you could always plug it into a larger system. remote slightly complex for a child but my 10 year old getting to grips with it. no PC driver for the widescreen had to hack one INF file to make it work with correct aspect ratio on the PC.

+ White gloss design is great, recommended for a reasonably sized bedroom, i like everything about it nice price for a LG TV.

- sound isn't great (no base) just buy some small speakers and image quality is better far away then close to the tv screen - is watchable though.

+ White case does not show dust and gives the impression of a larger screen in a modern minimalist environment, when the fashion is piano black this alternative is far superior. Lots of connections for peripherals ... so good future-proofing. Intuitive and simple set-up.

- The set responds very slowly to commands from the remote, so much so that one tends to press again and foul up the selection. The remote requires to be pointed very directly and precisely at the sensor to cause it to operate, this is quite unlike any equipment I have previously owned... and is a little unsettling.
