Works fine - no problems - apart from the problem below

Serious mains hum - I can't leave it on standby at night to use as a clock/alarm as the mains hum is so loud!

Users who are un-informed about handling new mode receivers and dont know how to "set them up ." (AS I ) Require a more Explicit HAND BOOK, Basic Step by Step about Everything. THE PRE SET BUTTONS ARE NOT TITLED AS SUCH> THE METHOD OF USING THE BUTTONS WHILE PRE SETTING IS NOT CLEAR especially in setting 5,6,7 8 stations. ( ok for the initiated, Bad for the novice ) NEED A BETTER & MORE DESCRIPTIVE HAND BOOK> Print a better Quality Instruction Book. The Japanese manufacturers Do. so watch out. The ON/OFF Button should be Coloured.

Easy to set up and use and a simple design that will not go out of date.

External aerial was not obvious on pictures and needs to be extended fully to get a good reception.

Very easy to use and the sound quality is great.

Mix of wood effect and silver design didn't grab me,but sound effect and price make up for it!

Retro Looks

Ordered two refurbished units. Both were faulty,one was damaged.

simple to use, good reception, alarm clock, large bright clock display.

instructions for use/manual a bit fiddly when it comes to the alarm side of things. Also, the pre-set stations don't always remain pre-set, however tuning is so easy this is not a major drawback.

Good looking radio, with increible ease of use. I was weary about buying refurbished but given the price i went for it, and as a result i can happily report i am extremely impressed with the radio as a whole. It is used every single day and i cant rate it highly enough.

None really - apart from nosleep function - but it's not really supposed to be an alarm clock...

It is very stylish and easy to use it has excellent sound quality and the display clock is just bright enough to see of a night-not too bright.

Looks good, sounds fine.

Presets 5-8 on same buttons as1-4 fiddly. Loses signal sometimes on local btations.

For the price this seems incredible value for money, I don't think you could tell it's a refurbished unit as it's blemish free and comes in a proper box with instructions, I challenge anyone to spot the difference. Excellent product.

Easy to use. Sound is very good for a Mono - you can play it quite loud without distortion. Once it is set up, it is simply a matter if selecting the channel you want via the presets
