+ Easy to use. Menus are straight forward. I enjoy using it to browse the web and check my email as well as listening to music when out and about. Camera is simple to use.

- Sometimes the camera shutter opens in your pocket and it takes a picture when you don't want it to. Web browsing is sometimes a bit slow but this is probably to do with the network being busy.

+ I text a lot and it's very easy to write and send them. The camera is very good and the phone has a large, clear screen. Very easy to send picture messages. All in all, a GREAT phone at the price l paid.

- Battery life is not as good as my old D750i, but is still not bad. The web browser button is very easy to hit by mistake! I cannot seem to zoom when using the camera.

+ Great camera and video functions on this phone. A one touch button begins the camera application and the photos are as clear as I get from my main cyber shot camera. Good call management features and contact prediction when you enter a number manually. Better music and media functions than the K800i and for some reason bluetooth seems better in terms of the consistency of calls using my headset. Looks good too this phone. I like the motion censors. These respond to movement when viewing photos. You can tilt the phone to view photos in portrait or landscape thanks to these censors.

- I upgraded from the K800i and I have to say I prefer the joystick feature on the older phone for navigation. The square configuration of 4 adjacent wafer thin buttons at the top of the key pad are not a patch on the K800i joystick. These new buttons are useless - way too fidly and it is impossible to play the tennis game which I used to love doing on the K800i. The K850i also has tiny keys and it is very hard to type a text message or email (takes twice as long as with the K800i). It's fiddly and a bit uselss for typing.

+ really happy with this phone. think the camera is great and don't need my digital camera aswell!! I love that i can listen to the radio when walking to!!

- The only thing I have a problem with is the battery life isn't long.

+ Navigation is good and the menus are easy to follow. I especially like the really useful multiple alarms in the organiser that you can program for each day of the week and then forget about them until you need to change or delete them (no need to constantly remembering to reset the alarm each day like my old Nokia). The 3.2 MP camera is pretty good and has plenty of useful functions and settings, the panarama function is pretty neat. I also like the radio which is pretty good quality using the included headphones. Before I bought this phone I had read that the battery life was rubbish. I'm glad I ignored those comments as in my experience the battery life is good. Far, far better than my old Nokia.

- The ringtones are pretty naff but that's not a huge problem is it?. The camera lens slide cover could use a locking mechanism as it is quite easily opened in your pocket which automatically switches the phone from standby into photo shoot mode, which could use up battery although it hasn't been a problem for me as yet. That said, it is handy if you want to quickly take a picture you just whip the phone out your pocket, slide the lens cover down and your ready to shoot in a second or two.

+ The camera is ready to use as soon as the shutter is open and gives great results at full res, but as with any mobile digital camera, I would not recommend using the zoom.

- Predictive text usability a little frustrating as I have not yet found a way of using just numbers and some key characters for me are in an extra menu rather than on the keypad. Battery life is also rather short which I offset by having a second battery!

+ Easy to use as a phone and for sms text messages. Very intuative as a camera (slide the lens cover open and you're away...). Picture quality appears good. Good flash on camera. Purchased as a present for my wife (who is not normally impressed by technical niceties) and she is delighted!

- Joystick navigation sometimes a little hit and miss (a non-critical problem). A little too easy to slide the lens cap open at times.

+ I really love the style and look of this phone. Didnt think I would get used to the joystick but it is great. Camera is brilliant, getting on the Net is good too. Music sounds great too.

- I find when using it for games and music the battery life wears very quick. Also having lots of problems after 8 months with it freezing. I have to reset it by taking the battery out, which can be very frustrating. With this problem when sending texts they sometimes hold in the outbox. I have checked with the provider and sony ericsson and no one seems to know why this happens. I have tried everything that everyone has suggested. To my mind it is the phone but this cannot be proven apparently. So even though I love this phone and I am putting up with it I wouldnt really buy another one of these when it is time to replace.

+ The best feature is the camera and is the reason I bought the phone having had that model recomended to me
