+ I mainly got this phone for its camera and I wasn't disapointed. The screen is wonderful quality and the camera is excelent. All the other features are easy to use.

- Has no tourch like the later model. Battery life after a year is extreamly redused. Not enough internal memory. Lacking Stereo speaker.

+ This phone is lovely looking as does everything i need it to do, takes wicked pictures, very easy to use not really much i don't like about it.

- The only thing i don't like about this phone is the texting. It really annoys me, i am only used to nokia, so i don't know if its just me or if the phone is just annoying to use when it comes to texting, but my friends have noticed that i don't text as much. I find i always hit the wrong buttons!!!

- The web browser button is too close to the "back" button, which means every time you hit "back", the web browser opens up - very annoying.

+ Lovely clear screen, good softwear, upgradeable memory, good camera.

- Joystick navigation key is not very responsive

+ Slick design, great camera, quite easy to use

- Lens cover slides by accident and switches camera on. WAP switches itself on and this costs me money. Battery life is poor.

+ im quite happy with it for the time being, it's a bit bigger than my previous one but camera & other features are quite good, if bluetooth is not on all the time battery lasts quite a long time

- the internet button presses itself if you forget to lock the keypad as its right in the corner, its also near the select & return buttons which makes me sometimes press it by mistake

+ Well I really love this phone. I have also shown my friends this phone and they also went out and got it. So I could only say the bad thing about this phone is my friends and I do get them mixed up with each other. I love the fact that it takes really good photos when im out with friends during the day or night especially when out clubbing. Then when your home you can just plug into your computer and transfer it all over.

- One other thing thats a little bad about the phone is when its in your pocket the lens cover can slide open and could end up taking a photo of the contents of your pocket. Aaargh. lol. I must say the phone is out of my pocket more times than in it...

+ It's a very good phone! The 3 MP camera has a very good color quality (that not even my digital camera has). I don't find it very difficult to use they keyboard as others might. It's all good from that point of view. It's easy to navigate through it, sound quality is good. The design is nice. The battery life is good..i usually charge it once every 3-4 days. If you're into mobile gaming,t he battery will drain in a few hours. Can't really say, I didn't really do a test on this, to see how much time it would take, but I'm guessing 3-4 hours? It's a great phone , though!
I dunno what more I could say..very good value for money!

- If I plug in my headphones to listen to some music, it won't always recognise them (though I don't have any problems what-so-ever with the Bluetooth - works like a charm). The lens cover opens up when I carry it in my pocket but the phone switches off the camera if it's not being used, so it's not really wasting a lot of the battery.

+ set up was easy with syncing it with my email i had the k750i so the features where pretty much the same.

- battery life doesnt appear to be very long compared with the k750i is the only thing i can fault it for

- Cant get the speed dial to work, blue tooth is temperamental and the sound from the speaker is poor

+ The quality of photos are superb and it's so easy to get to things you want to go to.

- The scroll key! I have had to change phones two times because my keypads got stuck but I stayed loyal to K800i simply because I love it so much.

- Size, Battery life. Camera opens in pocket, simple text is a nightmare

+ It is really good value for money. it has everything one wants, all works fine, camera is amazing! really not much difference with 5.0 mp camera. i like the navigating key in the middle for left and right, up and down. good organizer, but I am quite used to sony ericsson organizer, I like it. it has fairly good sound. really I like the phone and though i did find some things I dont particulary like, overall, I d recommend it, it is a good solid mobile. It was also recommended to me. batterie life is ok.

- clumsy, camera is sticking out, annoying when it opens itself, and camera button on the side is too easy to reach so i occasionally switch it on while doing smth else, like texting, also it switches on itself when in the bag, or pocket, the lens open easily. it is quite heavy, really not a mobile for a girl, lol. it is more for a guy, it s ok, as i m gonna give it to my bro. keypad, difficult to press buttons, not comfortable for writing texts, I dont like too much writing texts on this mobile. for comparaison writing texts on W880i is very easy.

+ The phone has excellent picture quality, and there are many things you can do to edit your pictures. It has a music player, aswell as the internet.

- The centre button is sometimes hard to use, and the features on the music player aren't as good as a Walkman.

+ Picture quality from the 3 mp camera is excellent. The menu is easy to use and I have downloaded lots of music tracks which can also then be used as ringtones. In camera memory is good too.

- The lens cover and shape of the back of the phone is a bit awkward. I prefered the casing design of my K750i.

- I can't set up Picture Messaging or Internet. I'm following all the instructions and I just can't get it to work. I've called cpw techical support and waited on the phone for ages. The battery life is attrocious. I carry the charger everywhere with me.

+ Camera is good quality, good flash and zoom. Music player capability, very loud on speaker. Value for money, good overall.

- There's a plastic sliding cover on the back, that when the phone is your pocket can easily slide open and switches the camera on. This shortens the battery life, not drastically but can get annoying.

- The lens cover on the back casing is all to easy to slide across by accident when picking up the phone,
this sould have been made lockable or removed all together.

- but unlike Nokia I find that the Sony Ericcson menu's are less intuitive.

+ This little device does all the things I require. It replaces, more than adequately, several other bits of kit. I find that the quality of the design and build is of a high order. I have not found it wanting in the functions which I require; phone, bluetooth, organiser, music, radio and email.

- I found that the keypad took a bit of getting used to as I have old, arthritic fingers. Now I'm used to it it's OK./

+ excellent music phone that i'd recommend to anyone who likes playing music on their phone.

- Camera quality is poor.

+ If you're looking to buy a decent camera phone, then you can't go wrong with the k800i.
Perfect for taking random pics at random times when you dont carry a camera around. Very easy to transfer files back and forth from the PC, even easier without using the software it comes with (just like dragging and dropping files into folders).

- The media player isn't very intuitive and theres not alot you can do to customize the files quickly on the phone itself. I do it all on the PC. The earphones it comes with isn't that great either, just regular earphones that do nothing to block out noise such as wind plus no volume control and no easy way to change track. Which is why I'd recommend buying some better set of earphones if you plan to listen to music with it. Although the camera is great compared to other phones, it isn't exactly ideal. It would be better if there were an easier way to disable/enable the flash and timer modes (you have to open up a menu and scroll through the options to do so).

It takes ages to get the words you want in the dictionary. Other non words come up first on predict
If i get a series of texts in, i want to be able to delete them quickly, (why put delete in the middle of the menu) not on this phone and cant change the settings.
The camera pic button is always triggered when i use phone one handed, its in the wrong place.
I used to be able to send longer texts Who has stopped that?
Why would i want music on a phone that i have to carry 2 or 3 batteries around just to keep a phone with a good charge on it. If im out and about i dont want to be changing batteries in the rain if i get a lot of calls. 9 of my friends have these phones and laugh when i ask them if they use the music.
Phone is too square.

+ It has a very clear screen with sharp pictures. It is easy to navigate once you know where stuff is. The contacts list is very easy to manage and access. The camera is great!

- The sharp edges at the receiver end make it a little uncomfortable to use. The sound quality of the speaker is pretty poor.

+ Good camera, golf games good

- Freezes, can't save numbers to sim and lost all my numbers when reseting the phone as it's had lost it's call register after two days.

+ i love the music features, the expandable memory and the radio etc i also love the effects of the camera and easy toggling between modes (video/camera)

- increasingly often when i am using the phone the music i am usually listening to stops and says "playback failed" i then exit the application to the home screen and my wall paper has been changed to the theme display. no other applications will work and i have to completley shut down the phone and turn it on again wasting time. an especially bad point in an emergency!

+ I just love the phone Sony Ericsson's screen layout is so easy to use it has everything I want. A good camera (pictures are fantastic quality) and you receive the radio, which it great for me as I walk to work and need a variety of music, which an mp3 player just could not hold! The Radio quality is excellent no problems even in the built up areas with hills. It does charge quickly so if you forget, plug it in before breakfast and after, you should have enough charge for the day, it does for me. Even a techno phobic can use this phone.

- It could be a little heavy or big if you are in to small cute phones. The battery life could be a little better, but I do use my phone for everything. So, if you are a big user then it does need to be charged again in the week; but it is quick to charge.

+ The photo quality on this phone is excellent.

- I would like the battery to last a bit longer, but to be honest three days power and use is still very good.

+ Good points are the camera, it's even got a fabulous zoom, which is rare on a phone. Has a good music player, can reach a loud voloume and still has a good quality.

- Choice of games could be improved.

+ Great picture quality from the camera. Easy to set up email and rss feeds. Lots of java apps and games available, many free. Zillions of themes also.

- As many have remarked, the only really bad point is the sliding door on the camera lens. But if you use a case then it's not that much of a problem. Apart from that, for the price, this is the best phone of all time.

- As it has no cover you need to ensure keys locked. Screen also gets scratched easily.

+ I like this phone since it has every thing in it. Id get good clear photographs any time I want without a digital camera. It has everything in it and it even comes at a very affordable price. The wireless bluetooth headset is very helpful.

- a piece of software, that is not supposed to be deletable, has somehow been deleted. on 3 occasions, the phone has locked, inexplicabily, resulting in me having to take the battery out, replace it, then restart it just to get it working. after 6 uses of the internet, i can no longer access the internet.

+ Great camera which is easy to use and takes high quality photos.Phone features are numerous and very easy to use and navigate from one menue to the next.

- No real bad points, although the space button when texting took a bit of getting use to becuase its a different button to the nokia phones ive been use to.

+ The phone is a neat, easy to use piece of kit. Sound quality is great and the camera is just top class! There's something in it for your granny as well as for the geeky teenager. :) The bluetooth headset works is very easy to setup and offers great sound quality and decent range. All in all, excellent value for money.

- I personally found the battery life to be just about average. Again this depends on a lot of factors like usage, signal strength etc. and therefore can vary from user to user.

+ Easy to use, great camera, good music player. I used to take 3 things with me (Phone, MP3 Player and digital camera) when I went on holiday, now I only need one.
