+ Its a reasonably priced, medium range product, does what I need, ie it prints b/w documents, scans with OCR, copies b/w. I haven't used it for anything else.

+ This printer was easy to install and was up and running in no time. The Print Quality is excellent, clearly defined prints with perfect colour rendition. Scanner is easy and fast to use due to the supplied sofware. I have previously had a seperate scanner and Printer ... this device includes both Printer and scanner but takes up about the same space as my old printer. Some reviews stated that the ink ran out quickly, I suppose it depends how much you print but I have found it to be similar to my old printer and it has individual inks so you only replace the colour that has run out.

- The printer is slow, especially in a higher quality colour mode, but the quality of the prints makes it a worthwhile sacrifice.
This printer is loud compared to others, however I can live with that

+ I am computer illiterate but this was very easy to set up.It is simple to copy,print or scan.
My main reason for purchase was because the ink is very reasonably priced and I think that at the price I paid it would be difficult to beat this product.

- Not particularly fast but I only want it for home use and it can be quite noisy but again that is not a problem for home use.

+ The picture quality was good when printing photos from my camera. The quality of the photocopying was also very acceptable and quite speedy.

- Its a bit "clunky" when it first takes the paper but it is easy to set up and use and the viewing screen is of great assistance when choosing which pictures to print.

+ The printer is easy to install and is user friendly, changing cartridges is easily done on screen in the advanced maintainance mode just follow the on screen instructions. have used epson for a long time and like the price and being able to change individual ink cartridages. fior updates on the drivers for windows 7 just go on line.
