+ Very good sound quality (nice tone,bass and treble) for one relatively small speaker. Easy to use. Picks up a lot of stations with good reception.

- Volume does not always turn completely off when turned right down?? Not many presets. The biggest downside though for you the potential buyer is that they don't make this model anymore! Try the new one?

+ It is cute-looking and very easily to use. I bought one for myself and bought one for my 78 year old father, as a result.

- Perhaps it would have been nice to have a re-chargable battery, but a minor point.

Good sound when reception is good

- Reception can drop but i think this is more a problem or the transmitters rather than the DAB radio. Has lost preset stations a couple of times but has been ok for the last few months

+ Good simple, clean design, perfect display even the scrolling text is easy to read, text looks excellent on a black background. Nice touch: the display automatically dims in darkened situations.

- Only downside is that you need to spend an extra ~£30 for a "Charge Pak" battery, as it does not take "ordinary" batteries. This can be ordered direct from PURE but is on back order.
