+ it's stylish and gives you plenty of information when help is needed, i would recommend this product.

- the battery supplied once fully charged only lasted 1 hour 20 mins i was very dissappointed

- I don't like Vista, it treats me like an idiot, and it crashes more times than XP. OS needs 2 GB to run effectively, this m/c has only 1GB.

+ It`s powerful enough for my needs--ie,web surfing,emails,photo storage,using applications such as BBC iplayer.It`s weight and size make it ideal for carrying to different locations.

- I don`t download music,films etc but I suspect it may stretch the capabilities of this little machine and the battery life restricts use "on the move" unless you can get to a power point.

- Not as fast running recent applications (due to not as good RAM as what you could have got, but for the price is very good), Battery life is pretty average, Mouse pad really sensitive for clicking, not a great deal of hard disk space.

+ Very good value for money. Perfect size, compact and light weight. Excellent software and very fast internet connection.

+ Very well priced laptop(refurb) that runs perfect out the box. Quick for word processing with dual core Pentium processor and great for basic computer usage(internet surfing etc). Has a super DVD drive and a nicely sized 120GB HDD. Smaller than most other laptops due to its slightly reduced screen size but this still appears to be of a high quality. Great for watching DVD's.

- Battery life could be better yet recharging times seem to take hours. Only 1 RAM slot...& only 1GB as standard means if you want to upgrade you'll need to get a single 2GB stick. Definitely not to be used as any kind of a games machine as it only has intergrated graphics. With 1GB of RAM and Vista this means only the older games will run(pre 2003/4) and even then you may need a little bit of luck.

- Unclear as to how to operate the internal wireless connection, but once we found out it's ok (Fn F10 by the way).

- I find the positioning of the USB points to be awkward, though this can be said of all laptops. I still haven't been able to connect the laptop wirelessly to the internet through the wifi network adaptor. Some instructions on using the built in wifi would have been useful. I find laptop keyboards and touch pads awkward to use, and plan on getting a usb keyboard and mouse instead.

- we did not find it easy to connect to the internet. i asked a friend how to switch on the inbuilt wireless connection. we could not find how to in the book provided. After my friends advice it was very easy.

+ very few. It's a very cheaply made system. It is really only any good for a child who is likely to break it. The price is good but you really do get what you pay for.
