Dyson DC25 Ball All Floors Reviews: , Upright, Bagless Vacuum cleaner

+ Very easy to move over all floor types.. even the kids can use it! Picks up dirt you didn't know was there.

- The cylinder is on the small side so means you have to empty more often and a bit fiddly to take apart when you want to use the tools.

+ It has great suction and consequently leaves a very clean carpet / wood floors. It is also very light and easy to manouve around the house. The controls are very easy to use and the hoover is easily switched from carpet to wooden floors.

- As the hoover has great suction it does mean that the hoover needs emptying regularly, however it is not a real problem if you have either a flat or small house. The other thing which it does not have is a recoiling lead. Again not a problem but would be nice.

- Heavier to push than expected and has to be emptied after only a short time of use. (Twice in a 22 x 12 ft room)

+ this is my first dyson, easy to use, manoeuvred very well,
sucking power is excellent but I want to wait and see what happen when the machine is 1-2 year old
if sucking power is still strong then I will give score 10/10.

+ It is light weight and so easy to use, it glides around the carpets and I can now hoover in places where I now do not have to keep moving the furniture. A fantastic hoover...

- Its a little tricky pulling out the extension lead and putting it back and I found out how to empty it the hard way, by pressing the red button which then releases the bottom and the dirt/dust came out and back onto the carpet. Lesson learnt and would have been avoided if I read the instructions. (but who does). Anyway got to use the hoover again and hoover the dirt/dust up again.

The pins to enable the cleaner to stand upright locked and therefore the machine wouldn't stand.
Although apparantly a simple fix, the Dyson helpdesk would not do this without charging us so we had no option but to send it back and purchase another product. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

+ I have owned 3 dysons and this so far is the best, I find it easy to use and very light.

- The flex could be a bit longer, and tools from other dysons do not fit.

+ The DC25 all Floors has even better suction than the DC14, on that alone this is a very good cleaner. The ease of use with the ball does get some getting use to, but once you are off it is an Excellent Vacuum Cleaner.

- Two minor points which I hope doesn't put people off.
1. Electric Cable not as long as previous models. Just about manage in our house.
2. The collection bin does not hold as much as a DC14

+ I have a cat and a dog and find this product very good at picking all the hairs up. I have had new carpets fitted and find that my dyson keeps the m looking brand new. I am really pleased with my new dyson and would reccommend it to all my friends.

The ball makes it even easier than my previous model and its lighter too, dyson have addressed alot of the quality issues that let down the previous machine. Great hoover and looks great too............excellent

+ Best vacuum I have ever bought. The suction is fantastic and leaves nothing behind. I have no faults with it at all although it is still a little bit expensive, but I suppose you get what you pay for!!

+ You really do pay for what you get- the performance of this machine is incredible! A lot of thought has clearly gone into the design and it shows - a real joy to use and with a 5 year guarantee it is exceptional value. Although Dyson's are not cheap, neither are carpets and wooden floors so look after them. Buy a Dyson, see for yourself and enjoy!!

+ Easy to use exactly where it's meant...round corners. My fifth Dyson over the years and so far really impressed.

- Fiddly when getting handle off but that is getting easier. Seemed to be the main gripe with most people when I read up before buying. If that is the only problem I can live with it!!! and till happy with the purchase.

+ Very manouverable and it is very easy to use. Powerful getting all the dirt and hair from deep in the carpet. Very easy to move from different floor types. All tools and hose are attached to the machine so are on hand when you want them

- Getting the hand hose out is a bit fiddley at first and takes a little getting used to.
