Dyson Cylinder Cleaner in Grey

+ The product is light and easy to manage. Cleans well and love the convenient method of emptying. Also love the idea of washable filters - instead of having to spend a fortune as on other models.

- The turbine heads do not work well on long piled carpet. The brushes stop moving round. Would work far better with a motor driven head.

+ Good sunction, bagless, easy to store and carry.

- Not as robustas my previous Dyson - a "motorhead".

- Red disc for turbo a bit stiff to pull out especially if you had a disability in your hands

+ Used a DC02 before and in comparison the DC20 is a huge improvement with less noise, much easier and compact storage and more powerful cleaning. The washable filter is also a good feature. So if you have a Dyson cylinder cleaner and want to upgrade, a DC20 will be a good choice.

- The crevice tool is a bit rubbish in terms of its reach and ability to pick up items compared to the DC02. The collapsible hose on the DC20 is also a bit bulkier than the DC02 which compromises your ability to get the vacuum head into gaps under cupboards, sofa's etc. However, these disadvantages are monor compared to the advantages a DC20 offers.

+ Tremendous vacuum. I have 4 dogs and no sign of dog hair on the carpets after using my Dyson. Didn't realise it would be such a success. Couldn't live without one now.

+ My carpets are so much cleaner I have dog hairs so I have had many cleaners before this one and I must admit I have never spent this much on a cleaner before but Iam very peased with it

- The flex could do with being a bit longer

- Took some working out as to packing it up for putting it away! Rather concerned about the comment that one should not store it near a source of heat as the only place I've got contains the boiler - but that is not on all the time.
