+ This is my second Dyson - I bought my first when they first came on the market - long time ago, well when it gave up the ghost I bought a replacement immediately, I love my Dyson. The new Dyson is much lighter to use and the suction is very powerful which is much needed when you have a Golden Retriever!!!!! I have recommended the Dyson to all of my friends and family members.

- The Hose Pipe - not very flexible

+ It picks up all the pet hair with ease without getting jammed. Having gone through 2 hoovers in a year with our 1 dog, having one that can pick up pet hair without blowing up is a god send

- It stands too high to fit under coffee table etc so you have to move all the furniture out of the way whenever you hoover.
When the hoover arrived the tools were not in the box, but a quick phone call to customer services and they arrived by post no problems at all.

Its "suck" is very powerful that may not be suitable for all carpets/rugs.

+ its light weight, its good on the stairs the hose reaches all the way up and the lead is very long so you dont need to keep stopping to unplug it every time you go to a different room.

- we have a dog and it really wont entertain picking up any of the dog hair even just one strand it just wont pick it up, yhay is the only bad part.
