+ Very good filter system and without need to replace regularly.

- Heavy to use and particularly lift up stairs. Complicated handle /tool use

+ Very powerful. The best vacuum cleaner I've used. First time I used it I thought the carpet was fairly clean (it had just been cleaned with a brand new Sebo), but the Dyson sucked a huge amount of dust out of the pile.

- The head of it is quite big, so it doesn't fit under some furniture. Loud, but the what do you expect for very powerful cleaner.

+ I love my new Dyson! I was given a 'hand me down' DC01 that was good, but after buying my brand new DC07 I was amazed! We got it for the 'all floors' ability, and I have not been disappointed by it at all! I am very happy with the cost too, for such a powerful effective machine! Thanks Mr Dyson!!

- The only minor bad point is the hose when vacuuming the stairs- it is very tight and awkward when trying to reach the top step, but I guess this will slacken in time!

+ Good suction.xcellent for pet hair.Very practical as emptying hatch is at bottom of dirt container and the lever action is easy for emptying. Nice colour blue. Overall appearance is very good. I do think they are a very good make and would buy again.

- wand attachment is very loud with any of the attachments altho the long thin attachment seems to be the quietest of the three and that,s still loud!,almost too loud to bear using but I suppose it,s because the suction is concentrated thru the wand so is going to be much louder. Machine is fairly heavy. I would try to get a quieter version next time!

+ A good all in one floor and carpet upright cleaner. It is extremely easy to move between carpets and hard flooring

- The extending hose/handle isn't the easiest to operate. Takes a bit of practice to unclip and extend from the main body of the vacuum.

Has not got the latest-design vacuum extension "wand," but that's why it's less expensive than the DC14!
Not the easiest design to carry upstairs due to carry handle position.
