+ It grinds the coffee beans well and is easy to adjust. I use it at least once per day so if it keeps working well I'll have no complaints.

- The timer feels cheap and I'd have preferred an on/off switch to enable the time settings to be easier to repeat.

+ Very simple and easy to use as long as you are able to keep it out permanently. Why did I wait so long to get one?!

+ Value for money. It does the job

- The grinding adjuster is a bit vague and could do with adding a couple of clicks on the fine end of the grinding scale.
Grinding timer dial is a bit daft and could do with being on the front.
Static builds up in the hopper so that the grounds leap out and make a mess when you tip the grinds out.

+ The best grinder I've ever had. Does the job well.
Easily grinds fine enough for the way I like espresso, which was a problem with the comparable Cuisinart DBMU80.
Noticably quiet operation which is important in the early morning.
Also like the storage space underneath to tidy away excess power cord

- A small amount of ground coffee accumulates behind the receptacle on every use.

+ It's much quieter than my previous Russell Hobbs grinder, and it also grinders finer and more consistently - the result is fine for espresso made in a pumped espresso machine.

- There is no "stop" button, which means that you have to accurately guess how many "cups" worth of beans you've put in the hopper - if you guess too little, then you have to set the timer again, but if you guess too much then the machine keeps turning even though it's empty. The timer is mechanical and you can switch off at the plug to stop grinding (and the timer carries on), but I think it's still a major design flaw.

+ For fresh tasting coffee grinding your own beans is best. This does the job adequately without having to spend a lot of money on 'professional' grinders.

- It takes a while to determine which setting is best for each type of coffee but with a little perseverance you'll get there.
