- Need to be very careful before you push the button,for example
if useng ground coffee and the grinder is not dissabled,the coffee goes everywhere
necessitating getting out the vacuum cleaner.

+ Makes an excellent coffee - make sure you buy beans that suit your taste - many beans are poor quality.
So, not much point spending that kind of money on a coffee machine to make a good cup of coffee if the beans let you down - you just need to keep experimenting

+ If you are a coffee addict then this is the machine for you. It makes perfect, creamy, espresso or Americano coffee, either demi-tasse or a full-sized cup. Cappuccino and latte are also excellent, though marginally more fiddly. The reservoir and hopper allow about 14 cups between refills, which is perfectly adequate. It runs on any coffee beans or, individually, previously ground coffee, so you are not tied to one brand of pod or supplier. If you leave the machine on accidentally then it self-cleans and shuts down after 3 hours. The whole machine is very easy to clean, and you are told when it is necessary.

+ Looks great. Makes excellent coffee - just like Costa! The way the coffee is deposited in the machine after you have made a cup is brilliant, there is no mess. The machine tells you when it's full and all you do it tip it into the bin - genius! Takes a little while to get the right strength and amount required in your cup that is preferable to you but it's great once you do. The milk frother produces really great foam and also makes the milk piping hot.

- None really. If I were to be picky I would say that it's difficult finding two cups that will fit side by side with eachother so you can use the 2 cup function but it's no big deal.

+ Ideal for making cups of hot fresh coffee from beans, easy to use and provides with the hot plate the ability to use warm cups as a bonus.

- None found so far. Much better than our previous similar product which cost a lot more.

+ Makes very good coffee, is easy to use, and much easier to clean than my old manual machine. We use this machine all the time as it isn't a chore like manual machines.

+ Beans to coffee means fresh coffee and no need to buy special pods to suit machine. Also variable strength adjustment and volume adjustment per cup.

- Water container is too small. Instructions not very clear, print too small and printed on recycled paper that looks unlikely to last more than a year before disintegrating.

+ Can access more of the machine for cleaning than my old one. Like having a separate boiler for the steamer. Great tasting coffee with good crema.

- Took a few frustrating days before we got the flow correct, but now its fine

+ FAR easier to use than an espresso machine where you have to add the coffee grounds yourself. You can make several cups of coffee quickly and without mess. Good indicators tell you when any kind of intervention is required (more water, emptying the spent grounds, adding beans etc). Good quality coffee, good crema, consistent results. Well worth the money in my view.

- So easy to use that you may find yourself drinking more coffee than you should! Took a little experimenting to find the right settings for various cup sizes etc. The built-in milk frother for cappucinos is OK, but not as good as the Bodum Latteo - we use that when making a round of cappucinos.

+ Very good quality coffee, hot with good crema. Tidies up ground cofffee into little capsules to put in the bin. Strength adjuster great feature. After setting up made 10 cups and then it was perfect. Very good with a strength 5 of good quality bean. As good as other top price models from other ranges!

- Took a while to set up the way we like it. Had to set grinder quite coarse to get enough strength into the coffee and the machine to deliver it in a stream.
