Firstly... the colour! A green laptop... that was originally why I chose this model!
On closer inspection, this laptop had everything I would need- excellent media provisions for both music, video and photos as well as a range of entertainment and general use programs.
It has some excellent tricks too, like the changing clock at the side and the changing pictures- excellent!
-
It was quite slow at first - they seem to have popped on so many things that i don't need, so after doing some routine deletions, it's running quite quickly.

Large screen, very tactile keyboard, nice and fast, good intergrated webcam, like the disk drive as theres no drawer that pops out so less likely my kids will damage it!
-
Can't run Internet Explorer 8 on it, uses up about 70% of CPU so have had to switch to Firefox which runs very smoothly. Backlit keyboard would be nice as hard to see the writing on the keys in low/soft lighting conditions.

Looks good (I like the red casing). Keyboard very nice to use. This is my first laptop and I have found it to be easy to use . There are some good features on it such as the built in web-cam and four USB ports.
-
The battery needs to be charged quite regularly espeacially if you are using the WI-FI feature which seems to drain it quite quickly.

the build quality of the actual pc is not quite as good as I would have expected - rough edges, slight plastic feel and the touchpad isn't slick - it can be quite sticky - however great pc functionally for the price.

Very stylish and nice layout, the controls are effective and the laptop is easy to keep clean. Very nice screen and lots of accesses points. The system runs extremely fast and works very well using wireless connection.
-
The screen may need some adjustment in order to avoid the effects of light reflection; this may be a problem with all laptops as my other Dell monitor (for use with PC) does not suffer this effect.
