+ allround good laptop,the screen is excellent sound great for dvds and music,as we only use the laptop for home use,we keep the battery pluged in.we wish that we had brought one years ago,and so easy to use.

- None really, a minor ding on the dell logo, and was heavier than I thought is was going to be - but that is more to do with my not checking the weight properly in your description than being a fault with the laptop.

+ Good performance for price; can play some modern games at lower settings (TF2, HL2) and can run 3D modelling packages and Photoshop. Easy to set up for use, not a lot of bloatware preinstalled.

- Poor battery life when doing anything other than surfing web and using the screen at an acceptable brightness. Big and quite heavy but since this is meant as a desktop replacement isn't such a big issue as there are smaller and cheaper models available if only a few basic functions are needed.
