Dell Studio 1555 Reviews: 15.6" Screen Laptop computer

+ Picture is good and its the fastest pc I've got at the moment, so its difficult to judge that.

- Still green lit pixel smack on centre of screen.
Keyboard has issues which is a common complaint with this model.

+ Great spec for the price. Better than Dell themselves at the time of purchased and it included the coloured top which was extra from dell.

- Touchpad does get warm to the touch, but this is to do with the inner workings getting hot. Not really a major problem though.

+ It is an excellent product and I don't regret having bought it. It's hard drive is fast and with 500Gb+ I've plenty of space for my photos and music. Hibernate and Wakeup are also smooth. The architecture is excellent and makes good use of both CPU and RAM which are both fast and complement each other.

- The Video Card is very slow and a bottleneck to an otherwise excellent machine. And, well, I would normally like the CAPS Lock, Scroll Lock, Num Lock, Hard drive activity, WIFI, and Bluetooth Leds, which are completely missing on this machine. The machine is also pre-configured to use Fn keys and not Function Keys - another minus in my opinion.

+ Good screen size and the picture it provides is crystal clear.

- I can't stand touch pads but it seems almost every laptop has them so i'll have to buy a mouse.

+ good point is the processor and harddisk which they have given is good.

- bad points is the design. i think they should have given some lights on the keyboard so that if i is blinking we can know wirless is connected or not. like sony wiao.......and i dont know what happened i had reinstall evry thing after a week i got.. sysytem little slow

+ Love the colour, it's straight forward to use and you can't even hear the fan. Battery life isn't too bad, lasts about 3 and a bit hours and doesn't take long to charge. Good quality display.

- Would have liked to have a side number pad like with the HP, but other than that nothing bad that I can think of.

+ great design, good performance

- too heavy, would much more prefer Windows XP rather then Vista

- Keyboard a little tricky as key depression does not always take affect. I little annoying but manageable.
