- the touch pad is not very good, need to have a mouse with it.

+ Good value for money, looks good, good performance. Would suite someone who uses a laptop for all day to day tasks. I personaly use it for web designing, photoshop, ms office apps and games. No problems running any of them.

- The design feels very plasticy, kind of cheap like. And the touch pad mouse sometimes freezes, maybe thats just me? I also dont like the builtin scroll on the touch pad.

Keyboard surround is shiny so collects a lot of muck and grease from those using it, needs cleaning each time use it to look presentable.
On some occasions the keys have stuck.

+ The screen is easy to read. The laptop is not too heavy to carry around.

- The battery runs out very quickly. The laptop sometimes stops recognsing that that it has an inbuilt webcam.

- A bit slow booting up from cold, but thats more Vista than the PC.
Glossy finish prone to finger marks

+ The machine is exactly what I was looking for as a gift to my wife. Great screen resolution and good performance from the Core Duo processor. Overall both of us are delighted with the product.

+ My 15 year old daughter was able to get up and running without any help. The machine is more than capable of meeting her needs (sixth form - including graphics). What really sold it to her was the colour (and I spent hours on research into the best price/performance mix).

-When making online videos fullscreen, laptop sometimes plays up with mouse going missing so you can't close it
-Keyboard keys a bit close together than a normal keyboard so can type wrong key quite often, that might just be a case of getting used to the keyboard though.
-The processor could be faster (as in the computer could be faster) - but you shouldn't expect a lightning quick pc for the money it costs.

- The touch pad takes a while to get used to but I wouldn't even say this was a bad point.

- black was a bad choice cant see touch pad or side clicks. Black shows up all fingerprints. Screen smaller than expected. Cd drawer difficcult to eject cd. Button too intergrated.

- Fan is a bit noisy and cuts in a lot. Size and weight make it not very portable, but this is a small price to pay for the screen and keyboard size.

+ A very well-designed laptop offering good performance and value for money. I bought the arctic white version which looks a lot better than the dull matte black and blue versions.

+ It is light and portable, yet sturdy and robust. Incredibly easy to set up and quick. It has a fast, efficient performance and the colour and sound are fantastic. I recently bought this to replace my old Sony Viao laptop and I'm glad I did.

+ Good Design, Does what it is needed for! worth every penny! definately recommened to other people. Brilliant for day to day use.

- Battery life doesnt seem to last more than 1hour 30min even if the battery on screen says longer it seems to die quicker. No other complaints.

+ The laptop looks great with it's uncomplicated design. The start up and closing down is really quick and you don't have to wait long. This model with the dual core processor is worth the extra money.
The screen is excellent, as it is crystal clear and very bright.
The webcam is good too, as it has a good resolution.

- The major disappointment with the laptop is the battery life which is only 2 hours and could be alot better.
The tracker pad is not as responsive as I'd like, but that is only a minor inconvenience.
The gloss finish means it is always covered in finger prints.

+ I am very pleased with the Dell laptop that i purchased. I enjoy using the laptop because it is very fast and you do not have to wait for the laptop to start up. I would recommend this product to a friend.

+ Really like it. It's easy to use and quick too, and it looks good - very sleek and a great choice of colours.

- There aren't too many, apart from the fact that when you close the laptop it doesn't go into standby mode but stays on, which took me a while to realise and probably meant I've ended up wasting a lot of electricity. Other than that I haven't really experienced any problems.
