Dell Inspiron 1525 T5750

The widescreen screen is lovely to work from very clear. I like the fact that it has a built in web cam and mic. Also the built in sd card slot is very handy no messing with digittal camera leads.

The one bad point is that it gets very hot but then most laptop/pcs do so it is not a problem.

I honest dont have any bad points about it, in fact I recommended this model to my sister and now she is about to buy one too.

Very good laptop which serves my modest computing needs admirably.

May perhaps struggle a bit for users who would push their machine further than I do, as I do little but view web pages and write word documents. However, I have no complaints.

As well as being exactly want you would want in a laptop, it's stylish and contemporary. Everyone comments on it when they see me using it. I love my new laptop!

Only thing against it is its weight. The same as any other laptop I'm sure, but it would have been absolutely perfect if it was a little lighter.

The love the fact that it comes in a variety of colours. It is a fantastic laptop for students just like myself.

The battery life is alright, but you'd expect it to last a little bit longer. It lasts for about an hour and a half.

It seems well built, has plenty of features (many of which I have yet to try) and is very simple to get to grips with.

I'd like an external volume control, as was on my previous Toshiba laptop - its irritating having to adjust the volume on the desktop. Also, even though it has an LED to show whether bluetooth is connected, there doesn't seem to be a bluetooth function on my model.

Dell Dock and Google desktop are great gadgets to have on the desktop, runs pretty fast too.

Battery seems to run down really fast.

It looks good and operates as well as it looks. I bought it for my granddaughter and she is over the moon. It linked upto the net so simply and woks as well in her house as mine. The webcam is great and so are the graphics. It fits snugly into its carrying case and she is proud of it.

It's a nice machine and it's enjoyable to use but I've had some problems with it that thankfully have sorted themselves now

Teething problems, also the speakers need to be really high for you to hear audio/video at a normal volume

Amazing colour on the screen, very sturdy construction, feels very good to type a long essay on, matte finish looks a lot better than my friends gloss finish laptop.

disc drive is a little fragile, and dont touch the screen it can get marked very easily.

Having always worked on pc's this laptop is a good first laptop to have. Core 2 duo which is absolutely brilliant if you have got several functions going at the same time.

Its rather heavy and gets really hot so I wouldnt have it directly on your lap. The battery life isnt great so have to keep charging it up or just leave the battery on constantly. The screen is reflective which is annoying so you have to sit away from the light.

A good starter laptop suitable for college or similar type work.

Very good at handling almost every thing that i have thrown at it, in terms of programmes that is! The multicores' and RAM are more than capable of running Vista with maximum apperance options, thus looking very smart.

Fails to cope with recently realeased games on standard settings - dropping certain settings in video options does combat this however.

Perfect laptop for web browsing, word processing, listening to music and organising photos. Performs well for an entry level machine.

Build quality is fine, but overall the laptop feels a bit flimsy especially when typing on the keyboard, but nothing has actually broken on it.

This is relatively light to carry. The processor speed is good. Laptop available in various colours.

Has a lovely shape and design. The fact you can choose a colour to suit you is great. It also has an integrated webcam which is high quality.

Good looking, lightwieght and easy to use laptop. High quality display. Caters for all basic computing needs at a very good price. The 4 USB slots are very handy as well as the multi-card reader. Keyboard has a nice feel to it - the keys are very responsive and but too light/plasticy.

The audio inputs are located on the front of the laptop - awkward for speakers.

touchpad sticks a lot, had lots of trouble with the wireless settings, touch keys on front are very slow, had to reboot the whole computer a few weeks after i bought it because it went seriously wrong. it seems to be ok now, but i find there are always little things that are annoying with it.

I think this is a very good lap top, good for students and personal use. I think if you were to use this for business use you would need a bigger memory. But overall a very good buy!

The battery life is impressive, it's lightweight, attractive, has many impressive features- including a built-in webcam, wifi and microphone.

The mousepad annoys me sometimes because it isn't as receptive as the one on my last lappy. However, I am sure this can be changed and I WILL find out how one of these days.

If I had the money I would get my kids one each as I never get the chance to go on my dell laptop it's great!
