+ Records well, freeview works and plays dvd and videos well. Looks sleek and remote small and easy to understand.

- First one received just kept freezing and wouldn't do anything, replacement freezes ocassionally but is otherwise ok. Not sure if this is to do with the poor digital signal in my area however.

+ Can put old videos onto DVD. Great picture and sound.

- I find it very complicated to work. I felt like I had studied for a phd by the time I'd read the booklet. But then, I am a mere woman!!

+ VHS DVD in one machine. Only one remote for both. Switches easily from one to the other. Very good quality of recording from both. Can rename you own recordings with ease and protect or unprotect your recordings.

- The freeview can get in the way of reording from our cable box. We needed to find a different channel to get to our cable programmes.
