+ first of all the size is great then when you download the software from creative labs the zen is easy, to use great for porting your music.

- At first, the menu seems a little fiddley, but easy to get used to.

+ Very small, very lightweight, ideal for the gym or just generally. Lots of features and looks good too. Very easy to load with tunes.

- Menus are a bit illogical and it can be rather tedious to navigate. Battery life is shocking, quoted at about 10hrs but seems to be more like less than 2 hrs, I'm considering returning mine in case this is a one off fault. Some WMAs that I loaded don't seem to play but not sure why as others do.

+ Easy to use with a good amount of memory. No frills, basic player. Just what was needed.

- Sound could be better. Don't know if it is the headphones alone or the unit as a whole but sound could do with some more bass.

- The product came with hardly any instructions. I downloaded the right computer software only after extensive web research into the product.

- Only works with Windows XP - making it a pain if you have an older operating system.

+ It's tiny, fits on loads of songs, has a radio, excellent sound quality!

- I use mine when I'm running and it doesn't have any clips on it (although you can buy cases that do).

+ Everything you expect in such a device for a very low price.

- Nothing to clip is to clothes. But it is so light and the wires of the earphones are so long that it is not a problem to keep the mp3 in a pocket while running or doing any sport.
