+ We bought two of these as birthday presents for our children and am very impressed with them. i wanted as much memory etc as possible for my money as my son plays a lot of multi player games, and i was worried this laptop wouldnt be up to the job. i couldnt have been more wrong. it works just as well as our desktop. he put on seven high spec games including sims 2 add ons and there is no loss of peformance at all. my daughter uses is mainly for net surfing and music. which is again very good. they also use them in their rooms which are quite a way from the internet server in our living room and the reception is very good with no loss of connection. the laptops also have a web cam and mike which i didnt know about till they arrived. i would definately recommend these laptops. i want one now to replace our desktop!

- battery life could be better, but as we mainly use them with the chargers attached it isnt really a problem. the base does get a bit hot also. as these are our first laptops, we dont know if this is the norm.

- Screen is quite dark if you don't use the charger, change the power saver ratings to help with this

- The charger is slotted in to the side of the laptop, this would have been better if it was situated on the back.
