COMPAQ PRESARIO A935EM

+ The screen size is brilliant, the colour is brilliant....overall its a good laptop which works alot faster than my old pc.

- The battery seems to drain really quick when its not plugged into the mains....that is the only bad thing about it.

+ The Comparq Prestario A935EM has a good size bright screen. Slim and not that heavy. The duel core processor is fast and with a 160 gig hard drive has loads of storage space. It is a pleasure to use and very quiet. Considering the 17in screen the battery life is not too bad around 2 hours which is a lot better than my 6 year old 14in Packer Bell which only ever gave me an hour when new.

- Only one, the right hand shift key is not in the right place for me. As I can touch type I find it a bit annoying hitting the wrong key.

+ bought this for my 75-yr-old father and it's his first ever computer. He loves it and is getting on very well with it, even the web-cam! I really rate Compaq having had computers of that brand myself and they are well worth the money.

- Can't think of any really - only Windows Vista and that isn't Compaq's fault.

+ That it loads the internet fast and has good parental controls.

- That sometimes it switches itself of when it has no battery, without warning.

+ The hard ware is well designed and solid construction

- Software Vista and all the add ons The screen is reflective not very good

+ It is reasonably fast with regards to performance, looks good and is easy to use.

- Quite weighty but not too heavy. other than that there is nothing I can fault it on

+ Wide screen, good performance

- Not laptop itself, but some issues with Windows Vista / printing

+ Good screen size, processor speed, wireless built-in.

- Battery life.

+ The built in camera.

- the dvd software doesn't work properly.

+ iT WAS VERY EASY TO SET UP THE WIRELESS INTERNET SYSTEM

- i FELT THE BATTERY LIFE WAS TOO SHORT THOUGH I HAVE NOT SPECIFICALLY TIMED HOW LONG IT WAS BUT IT DIDNOT SEEM TO LAST VERY LONG

+ The design is OK though the dvd/cd drawer is quite weak and I have a feeling it will break if I don't take care. Otherwise I have had no problems with it.
