+ A great game for ages 4 and upwards (even grandparents can play) Can be packed away and travel to other places to play too, no electricity req'd! A great family game for everyone to participate in

- Some of the cups crack after a lot of stacking, so pay attention to the dvd - don't smash them down on each other. I would consider buying the more expensive cups as they are a bit sturdier.

+ Keeps kids busy, helps them to use both hands which works both sides of the brain, most of all they enjoy practicing.

- The cups are quite flimsy and as my 8 year old son is quite heavy handed, he has already chipped one and broken another.

+ I run a Speed Stacking club at my school and this pack was much better value than the schools main supplier and recommended all the pupils to buy this pack

+ Easy to learn, encourages manual dexterity, speed and competitive nature.

+ We've had no end of fast & furious contests since the speedstacks arrived! - they have brought tremendous pleasure to family and friends alike!

- You can't switch off the sound!!! (They can be a bit noisy at times!) - might be interesting to build into the timer-panel a function which measures time used so that, after say 10 minutes, it can display the words "time for a rest!" on the display panel! (Children don't always know when to stop!!!)

+ The timer is great. My daughter really enjoys trying to beat her best time, and competing against her father.
Also it is very portable, so she can take it wherever she goes.

+ For a 12 set of cups it is extremely addictive! Trying to beat your own personal best - or the records of those who post their times on youtube is addictive also. Promotes eye hand co-ordination, and can be used in a variety of ways in relays, team games etc.

- The cups are built to be lightweight - but if you have heavy handed kids using them - you may find that some end up broken, chipped etc sooner than later.

- Cups tend to be a little flimsy - although light for the purpose if a smaller child (not understanding be careful) grabs hold and slams down they can crack or break, making the whole game unuseable.

- You can't get the mat and the timer in the carry case with the cups. The game itself can cause arguments and needs to be referreed sometimes.

+ Good quality, strong and durable. My daughter goes to an after school stacking cups club. This product is as good a quality as they have at school.

- Perhaps would be nice if the box they came in could be designed so that it opened right up and everything had it's place so that it could be kept in it neatly. But I should think it would then have to be plastic instead of cardboard which would add to the cost by alot.
