+ I bought speed stacks for my 10 year old son. He had been using them in his P.E lessons at school and really enjoyed it which is a first as usually he hates P.E. He plays with them every day and has become very competative with other family members. He is always trying to improve his time. I think speed stacks are excellent for concentration and co-ordination and above all lots of fun!.

My daughter and her friends have had a lot of fun playing with this.
It's a good toy, and helps develop both speed and spacial skills as well as strategy.
It is simple and seems robust enough for the job in hand.
Cannot really fault it in any way.
- This is NOT really a Bad point, but it is noisy when my daughter is playing it upstairs.

+ Durable, attractive, packs away neatly
- while being of good quality i consider the stacks to be expensive for something that is basically a very simple toy.

+ Great fun and improves hand to eye coordination. Very satisfying for child trying to beat times of friends.
- Quite expensive for what really is fundamentally plastic cups.

+ I got this for my daughter (after a lot of nagging). I was dubious at first, but she continued practicing, and is now quite proficient (to the pint where I no longer try to beat her time).
- The point at which the mat joins the timer can seem susceptable to damage.

Sport stacking originated in the early 1980’s in southern California and received national attention in 1990 on a segment of the “Tonight Show”, with Johnny Carson. That was where it first captured the imagination of Bob Fox, who was then an elementary classroom teacher in Colorado.
Speed Stacks founder Bob Fox says, “When I first became passionate about sport stacking in 1995, a lot of people would hear about it and scratch their heads. Stacking a sport? The only way to explain it was to show them firsthand – sport stacking is truly something you have to see to believe! I absolutely love the challenge of turning skeptics into believers, and the list of stacking enthusiasts grows every day.”
Speed Stacks spreads nationally. In 1998, Bob was asked to present sport stacking to Texas. After a tremendous response Speed Stacks, Inc. was born as a small home business designed to promote sport stacking and be a resource to physical education teachers. And the sport
