+ Exceptional value for money. Very easy to set up for instant action. Useful to have the individual inkjets light up when they need replacing. My old 3000 ran completely reliably for several years, and I'm expecting this one to do the same, as it has done so far.

- The new ink jet packs, only available singly, are too expensive. For my old 3000, you could buy combined packs of colours and double packs of blacks. I did prefer the slot in tray on the old model; it's a bit of a fiddle loading paper into the dual in-out slot. It's also a fiddle establishing a default for front load which is not entirely clear from the instructions.

+ It has co-ordinated with all my other peripherals, after downloading a patch to enable the " copy " function of my Epson scanner and ' smart panel '. Once it starts printing it is quite fast, and produces good print quality.

- Takes a long time to " warm up " before starting to print.

+ Good colour, fast, quiet

- nothing to indicate whether it is capable of printing on card, accetate or transparences, which I use for my hobby.

+ Easy to set up, good looking.fast printing.,

- Slow start, noisy, print quality disappointing.May be better on better quality paper, but results with pictures on ordinary paper worse than on the printer it replaced.

+ The Print Quality is good. It is a very quiet printer

- The Print Speed is slow when compared with the S5000 I find it is very un- economical with coloured inks

+ it is very quiet compared with my old machine BJC6000. I use this model strictly for printing on icing sheets for celebration cakes which I make for friends.
