The size of the camera is great, just small enough to be able to fit in a pocket. It's light and feels as though it's built well. Ther is hardly any time lag from pressing the shutter button to the photo being taken which means you won;t miss that important moving shot. It also has a HUGE screen as there's no viewfinder. Who uses a viewfinder now anyway!!

None that I've found so far!!!

28mm (equivalent) wide angle lens - large & bright view screen

complex variety of settings - understanding would be assisted by comprehensive instructions in a booklet rather than on a CD - a booklet is easier to browse when traveling etc and can be kept handy for "in the field" help

Fantastic at taking photographs, and particularly brilliant at taking macro photographs. Also performs will at night, and has a wide range of features, such as changing the exposure time etc.

The battery life could be better, and the lack of a view finder could be bad for some people - I haven't had the need to use one yet. Back screen is also prone to being scratched

wide-angle lens is lovely, as is the macro mode. the time-lapse movie mode is plenty of fun.

perhaps the camera casing could be a little tougher - the silver scratches quite easily (though the screen is fine)

I bought it for my wheelchair bound, 82 year old uncle. He is having the most fun ever and producing (shake free) pictures that are of fantastic quality. He was an amatuer photographer many years ago and won local awards. The Ixus had given him a new lease of life!

Wide angle lens. Good quality pics. Small and handy.

No viewfinder. Poor focus if still set to auto face recognition setting can give fuzzy pictures with delayed timer.

This camera is very easy to use and it can be set up with the settings to suit your regular photos.

At the 28mm wide angle there is a lot of distortion to the edge of the image. The flap to gain access to the USB link is flimsy and on my camera it doesn't open properly.

the size is great. and the features are exellent. the screen is big too. i also like the red eye correction facility.

if using the flash and zoom, the image is too dark. and if you want the date to appear on the image you have to use postcard size, and then the camera is less than 2 pixles instesd of 8 pixles. you also have to allow exta room above peoples head when taking photos, or a bit is missing.

very fast to start up and process photos. lots of modes give you the ability to take pictures in almost any situation. Final image quality is great as you would expect from Canon.

you don't quite have the ability to control every aspect of the camera like you do in an SLR, but as a point and shoot you can't really expect that.

Viewfinder is excellent, panorama is fantastic, am amazed at how much I could get into my picture, clarity of photos excellent and very quick to take a photo.

Not too easy to learn how to use, dvd has full explanation, but not many people have time or inclination to watch it, apart from that however, no bad points.
